Better flavor than green tea. Very subtle and smooth. My new go to tea. Clean.

Not a strong flavour but its unami shines in sauces. A really good buy for that otherwise maybe if you toast it more might get a stronger flavour.

We’ve tried a couple of brands specifically for Shabu Shabu/Hot Pot style cooking and are always pleased. So many others are almost flavorless. This with a touch of Dashi granules makes a great stock base. I’ve even just brewed it up in the winter like a yummy tea

I don't know if my experience was out of the ordinary, but my bag of kelp had an uncomfortable amount of snails in it. Granted they were all tiny, but still there were a lot and i didn't realize this until I had put the kelp in my stock.. I attached a photo of a couple that I shook out of the bag.

Arrived, next day I opened the sealed package and it was covered in mold:(. Learning... white stuff is supposed to be there!

Great for soups and cooking beans. Kosher too!

Worth it, great, will order again
