Not for field use
The item is of very poor quality. The reel tape unravels fast and extra tape hangs behind you as you run it. unless you are using it very gently around the house, and very slowly, it is not practical for field application. The handle is hard to use to roll up the tape, and one tape handle broke off immediately after unboxing and using for less than 5 minutes. We are returning all of the tapes we purchased.

Company Made It Right, But Product Failed
Looks great and is very easy to wind up, so I would have given it five stars. Unfortunately, the handle broke the very first time I used it. The company did work with me to make things right, which I appreciate, and that’s why I’m giving it four stars instead of one.

Fast retraction and great price
I like the price and the fast retraction. I used it once in damp vegetation. When I used it the second time, the numbers had faded about 30% on one side. Still usable, but... UPDATE - Seller contacted me and asked for additional information. I sent photos and LAND responded immediately to correct the problem. I changed review to 5 Star because I very much like the product and am very impressed with the voluntary offer from customer service to help me.

Awful product
I bought an acre of property. Decided to purchase this to help measure various things. I’m in the construction business and know how to use things. This broke after 3 uses. Internal sprocket and gears sprung loose while I was winding it up. I contacted seller as advertised on Amazon account, they claimed to not sell it. I couldn’t find help. So I contacted Amazon, and I must say, they were VERY helpful. Refund almost immediately. I went to Lowe’s and purchased a better product.

Mecanismo deficiente
El mecanismo de recuperación de la cinta es deficiente,se safan los engranes porque se afloja el tornillo qué sujeta el sistema,yo tuve que solucionar el problema haciendo adaptaciones al mecanismo...ahora funciona mejor...aunque se tiene que manejar con mucho cuidado.
