It’s a really fun concept , but it doesn’t last as long as as claimed.I love using it, and I have told friends and family about it it. I showed everyone how it works , now all interested it . And thinking about ordering it as well.

Update: I own 3 shades now (I am trying to find that perfect wedding color 😅). Love love love them. Please note if you bite your lips and have healing spots they dye differently. So be prepared for that. So far my favorite shade is Charming! I am a very fair skinned, summer pallet girly and ita almost perfect. Darling is too bright for me. Romance is a tiny bit too warm and still very vibrant. Where as Charming is a nice cool mauve. What I was looking for: a lip stain with staying power for my wedding day. These are obviously viral at the moment and so I gave them a try! What I found: Okay let me preface this by saying I am white white. Like ghost white. Like turn into a lobster, doesn't have the gift of melanin, translucent white. Ergo, I was trying really hard not to go for the extremely pigmented colors. Yet, the only cooler toned stain available when I was looking was Darling. I took a look at the images and thought to myself, "I think I can pull that off. It shouldn't be too bright." Ooooo boy was I wrong. My first application I went with a full 60 seconds. Had my lips looking like they'd been painted neon peony pink. And the color didn't start to fade for a full 6 hours or so. Which is great staying power. I just wish that I hadn't been over confident on the application. When I apply the stain for 15 or so seconds it turns out like the photo attached. Still bright but not quite neon bright. And I can handle that for sure! Now the stain itself is not hydrating. You need to top it with some chapstick or a nice lip day mask. But it does have great pigmentation and staying power. I ordered a lighter shade to try out for my wedding. I think you'd probably want to reapply about 4 hours in to get a full 8 hour pigmented look. But I feel like that's great staying power personally. And it doesn't transfer to anything like most lip products do. Which is a huge win. Pros: highly pigmented (if you're translucent like me, don't be me, and shoot for a shorter first application), transfer proof, waterproof, quick application, does not come off Cons: does not come off. So please don't try this right before a big event. Play with it first to get your timing down. Stains fingers, so no touchy touchy with bare fingers. Pro tip: place a paper towel or cleaning cloth under your lips before spraying with applicator (if you got the set). Use a cloth to wipe it off.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the color, I was so excited to try this product. Definitely not worth the hype. I prepped my lips with a lip scrub and applied as directed. Didn't last more than an hour. Maybe my lips do not hold the stain but I am back to my go to lipstick.

Instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to apply. The color was a dark pink that looked good and it did not rub off on my mask. However, I was disappointed by how long it lasts. It may last all night if you don’t eat and drink, but once I did it started to come off. After about 4 hours of wear, several drinks, and dinner, it had worn off the outer parts of my lips. As long as you didn’t look really closely there was still some color and looked good, just not vibrant with a total coating of my lips like it was when I first put it on. This is a great improvement over even long lasting lipsticks, but problematic because you can’t really reapply once your out of the house.

I purchased the stain and activator, followed the instructions and layered it on as thick as they show in the product photos but the activator spray caused the stain to drip, leaving stains down the corners of my mouth and chin. A few youtube videos and several more attempts, I've at least got it to stop bleeding but it still feathers at the edge of the lip line. I should have done more research and realized that the fact they also sell this product in a pack with lip liner means that it should be used with lip liner, but I assumed from the name and product photos that would not be necessary. It also fades and becomes blotchy within a couple hours. Even if I have not eaten and only drink water, I still need to reapply within a few hours. I've tried many lip stains and this is the most expensive and has the worst results of any I've tried.

I have found My Holy Grail! I have tried every band I can get my hands on for a long lasting stain for my lips 💋. This is so easy to apply if you watch some of the videos. First time I nailed it, and I was surprised because I was nervous about it. I applied it like a liner and did a heavy coat 3 times. Read the instructions on the box! 30-60 seconds. The first time you apply, be very careful and it should turn out the way it is instructed. Spray the activator on carefully and it does peel right off! You can redo the process if it is not to your liking of color and you want to enhance it. I put so much on the first time that it stained my lips a perfect berry color. When you use the lip stain, be very careful to line your lips appropriately. Because this stuff will not come off, and that's exactly what I was looking for in a stain. After you spray the activator be careful because it can dribble a bit.So get black towel out and make sure to get it off of your chin or wherever it might dribble. This is possibly because it was my first time trying. I just ate something and nothing came off. The only thing is you may notice a slight tingling in your lips, but that will subside. I have extremely sensitive skin and my lips get cracked from time to time. Because of the dry climate, I live in. I used the exfoliator first the three in one. I applied the activator after I applied the color. I topped it off with one of the glosses that is recommended for this brand and it made my dryish lips immediately immediately film moisturized and conditioned. The only drawback I can find is that if your lips are cracked or have dry skin. This will pocket because it is something that stains dry skin as well and may not look as good Also, I would go with a lighter color than I purchased, if you're looking for more of that jlo** glow or natural look. Looking at the negative reviews, I can mostly tell you what went wrong. If it’s patchy or uneven, it’s because the application itself was patchy or uneven. Unexfoliated or chapped lips won’t work as the extra skin will prevent it from staining evenly. You want them smooth and dry. And you need a thick coat. And that thick coat needs to set on your lips for almost exactly the same amount of time or else the color WILL look uneven as it will stain your skin to different degrees. Once I figured this out it got very easy to work with. I draw my lip line with it first so the edges look solid instead of blurry and then go back to fill in the middle. And you do actually need to put on the recommended 2-3 coats. Sorry but the photos in the negative reviews absolutely look like user error.

The novelty is great. However, the wand doesn’t pick up enough product and is too flimsy and long to allow precision application. Not enough product means you won’t glide the flimsy wand tip smoothly and is drags unevenly on skin. When you try to backfill over the previous layer of product, your wand tip ends up wiping off the previous “blue skin” layer which has begun to dry, leaving the patch of lip uncovered by product again. Could be avoided if you could just get enough product the first time. Say you finally get the lips coated in blue, you can’t wipe the edges to create crisp lip line, because color has begun depositing so you have to be really careful. You finally have the blue outlined and filled in the way you want. You spray the activator with a poor spray bottle design and it literally squirts and backsplashes on your face. It’s not an even spray or mist, more watergun. The saturated lip causes some pigment to run down your face. If you panic and try to prevent pigment running now your fingers are stained. Blue won’t always peel off evenly, so you’ve got to pick it off quickly so it doesn’t keep depositing in those patches. This is another great way to get your finger tips stained. Any makeup or manicure you had on ruined for the sake of applying this lip stain. The color is fine enough but remember the patchy application? Although yes the lip was completely covered, all the places you backfilled deposited less pigment so you have blotchy results. You peel off the blue and immediately have to do it again so you don’t go through the next few hours patchy. Also, why do my lips have to burn and tingle while I have this on? It’s not a lip plumper. I now am walking around with stained fingers and an uneven lip line. If you want the novelty of peeling off a blue layer, I guess that’s fun. But for every day, there are plenty of lip stains without this hassle. I think this product would be better if the applicator and spray bottle were of better quality. Even so, the price is too high and the result not only impractical but also not earth shattering.

This is good quality lipstick and lasts for hourssssss and the lipstick doesn’t transfer which is amazing!

Exfoliating your lips is important. Lipstick rarely stays on my lips but this one is good for about 4 hours. The color is lovely I get a lot of compliments.

My natural lips are dark and this stain adds so much color and pigment that lasts me two days before completely fading!! My only complaint is that the product runs out very quickly & only last 1-2 months. I find myself having to repurchase it very often.

Does leave some residue on fingers if you try to peel.... Have had to use only the cloth to wip off to avoid stained fingers and nails.. Wears off from the inside out too easily..... Then looks odd for hours.. 🙄

The product came a bit late than expected but once it arrived it was well packed. The application was fairly easy. The first picture is my lips after application, the second is from my fingers colored from taking the peeling off, the third is right after application, fourth is with lip balm. Fifth is after morning coffee and meal, sixth is after 8 hours, barely any left, seventh is same time but with lip balm. I like that it does not transfer and to be fair I touch my mouth a lot during the day, but the whole prep was too long for my taste and if I actually want it to last all day I would need to repeat in the afternoon and the color did not fade even so now it looks like I have chipped lips. :/
