Great cookbook! Pictures of recipes, and some history about the area. Exactly what I wanted.

I am from Scotland and reading through the recipes really brought back fond memories. I love this book and photography is excellent.

I really like this cookbook. Full range of recipes from simple soups to fish terrine. Great color photos featured in step-by-step instructions. Good information on history of Scottish food, explanations of ingredients, and food regions. It is the size of a magazine, not hard cover, so fits easily on my crowded cookbook shelf!

Simply browsing this book prompts a lot of memories, The recipes do work but that is only a part of it: the joy is the inspiration possible from such a slender book. This is one book which will be well thumbed.
