Is this roller for cutting fettuccine or pappardelle? I'm looking for fettuccine, about ¼" wide.

model number 86/TL is for fettuccine and 86/P is for pappardelle.

It is fettuccine width. You do need to put a little pressure to get it to cut, but I am very satisfied with the product.
