Nice Marine Stereo!
Put this unit in my 27 bowrider replacing an older Sony unit. The unit is much smaller in depth due to the lack of the CD player. It has a wiring harness with all the leads marked by color coding for what position (front/back-left/right) and polarity. I can see the display just fine in the sunlight so no problem there. I paired it with 4 Infinity marine speakers and the DSXM55BT drives them well. Cranked up I can here the music while underway. The Bluetooth connects well with no issue and radio stations tune in clear. Overall, I feel this is a real nice unit for the money, installed easily, manual is straight forward and once you get the hang of the controls/menu it's fairly intuitive. My only complaint is when I shut the batteries off on the boat the unit loses its presets, but it's fairly quick to re-memorize them with the 6 preset buttons and that is not the fault of the unit. I would have no problem recommending this unit and it does have pre-outs for an amp if needed to expand or add a bass speaker. The RM-X11M is the optional wired remote the manual says that goes with this unit.

After 2 seasons of use....easy to navigate, great bluetooth connection, plenty of power.
About the only negative I will mention is that the connection lines are kinda light gauge, probably <14g. It has a 10amp fuse and I'd say the wire would melt before the fuse would blow unfortunately. Why be so cheap on the connection wire when the rest of the package seems quite adequate? How much could the next size or two up actually cost extra? Otherwise, it's a reasonably priced unit for a 19ft Yamaha SX192. Display is easy to read and operation is pretty straightforward. If any quirks comes along I'll update. Can't talk of longevity, but here's to hoping. One star off for the light gauge connection wires. UPDATE - after two summer seasons of usage this unit is working VERY well. It pumps enough RMS to feed stock JBL 6 1/2" speakers x 4 on a 2015 Yamaha SX192. Completely satisfied as the OEM Clarion, if available, would be >$200, and IT only lasted 3 seasons before giving up the ghost. Although the wiring, as previously mentioned, is somewhat a light gauge, it's still providing adequate "bump" to the speakers so I cannot complain. Bluetooth connection is stable to Android, cannot comment on Apple connections. There's NOTHING to dislike at the $100 price point. Bumping up my rating to 5 stars!!!!

Good value
Light weight, easy install, works well out of the box. Hopefully will last years. Good sound and Bluetooth is solid.

So far so good
Quality marine stereo. Installation was easy. Sounds great. Pairing a phone via bluetooth was easy. Brightness is good. Easy to read screen. The only thing I don't like is the UI. The menu system is not intuitive. It's fine once you figure it out, but it's an odd combination of button presses to get to the menu item you want.

Great marine ready radio that gets great reception and has clear sound
I was hoping for a direct wiring swap with an older Sony radio, but that didn't happen. So I had to rewire from an existing radio setup to this one, which actually went quite well. The mounting carrier for this radio was a little unnerving in the beginning to me, but proved to be fine after I saw how small and light this radio was compared to the old one. I was thinking I was going to mount a carrier with some screws into my helm and then slide the radio in, well no, the carrier just has some push out tabs that hold to the helm and work great. sound quality and reception are both outstanding. I do not play extremely loud, but have cranked it up and do not have distortion usually associated with doing so.

Just a mess of a transaction from the start.
Bought this stereo as a replacement for a customers Road Glide. Installation went fine. I've done hundreds of deck installs. Everything was great until 5 minutes after the project was buttoned up and reassembled. Now I am running an amp as well so the deck is basically only using the RCA cables. After 5 minutes of playing the deck started glitching and sound began to cut in and out. Took it back apart and double checked all connections and still doing the same. No big deal. Things happen. This was a Sunday so I jumped on Amazon to get a replacement order started. Initially order said delivery on Wednesday. Perfect. Customer is coming from out of state following weekend to pick it up so this hiccup still gives plenty of time to get fixed. Wednesday comes and no deck. Now shipping says Friday. Ummm ok. I contact Amazon customer service and am told "rest assured your replacement will be there Friday". Thursday rolls in and another email that it's now going to be Saturday. Welp that screws me. So a full 4-5 days just to process and ship a replacement for a bad product. Customer service at it's finest. UPDATE: I ended up speaking with Pacific Stereo directly after they reached out and turns out it was a communication issue with Amazon and finalizing the replacement order. Incredibly apologetic and they shipped one out next day air on their dime. That's customer service. Apparently this is an issue Amazon needs to fix on their end. Nothing but appreciation for the quick resolution from Pacific Stereo.

Sony quality
Always been a fan of sony. This unit looks great, fairly easy to navigate, with fair amount of custimization options. Haven't battled tested it yet but if it's like any of my sony units of the past I'm sure it will last for years. For the price I think it will be a good radio.

Great sound for the money.
So far so good. Only been a few weeks. This unit paired with infinity speakers on my 22’ Bennington pontoon packs a punch. No big subs or amps. Sounds good and enough power to be able to listen while riding. Which was the problem with old unit and speakers. Pairing phone is slightly harder it should be but overall am completely satisfied.

Great radio. Works good

Very easy to install very easy to Bluetooth USB and aux cord very loud The only issue I am having is the remote has to be facing the radio so if you’re sitting in the helm and your radio is in the glove box, you have to face the remote to the radio for it to work that’s minor. Oh no great for the price.

Great quality in the Harley

I purchased this last summer for my boat for fishing in the summer time. This is a great stereo for the cost. If you have Serious XM and have the app on your phone you can stream it directly to the radio. I was able to drop my Marine stereo cost each year simply by purchasing the stereo. Definitely worth the cost

used with stock speakers, and a Pyle marine amplifier. sounds good and loud enough for a Harley. If I remember correctly, most of the wiring had water protection, I added some. was surprised to see the face of the stereo is removable (installed on dads bike. radio was christmas present). awesome little bluetooth unit
