What is the difference between half back and full back?

It's the thickness of the board. The half backs are 24pt thick and the full backs are 42pt thick.

Do these work best with the mylite 2 7"x 10.5" bags, or should i use the half-back 6.75"x 10.5" boards? i want a perfect fit, not too tight or loose.

It depends on what vintage comics you're working with. Remember that they got a good deal smaller as time went on. I prefer a backing board that does not slide around at all so no abrasion can occur. My collection was all pre 1972. If in doubt google the CGC board which has all folks specializing in comics. You'll get good advice.

Does e.gerber 100 half-backs standard comic size - 7” x 10-1 fit mylites 2 mil comic book standard size 7 1/4" x 10 1/2" plus 1-1/2" flap pack of 50?

If the comic is 7 1/4 which is what older books measured, no it won't fit the backing board. Comics got smaller as time went on and 7 did become a new acceptable size. I liked a snug fit in the bag and the backer board. All in all, Gerber makes a fine board but you must address what you are collecting.
