Alameda Skateboard Complete | Canadian Maple Wood Deck w/ 5.5 Inch Aluminum Alloy Trucks for Commuting, Cruising, Carving & Downhill Riding

This was my first skateboard and I’ve had it for about 3 years now, so I can give a real long-term review. I didn’t just use it occasionally, I actually used it almost every day as my transportation to school, riding around 2 miles daily. Even after all that use, the skateboard has held up incredibly well. The bearings still work smoothly, and the design/paint still looks almost like when I first got it. It has taken a lot of hits and impacts over time, but it never broke, which really shows the quality of the material. I mainly used it for transportation, but sometimes I also practiced tricks. My friends, who have a lot more experience with skating, would use my board too and do tricks like ollies and kickflips, and the skateboard never failed. Even they told me that I made a really good purchase, especially for the price. One of the things I loved the most was the wooden design. That’s actually what caught my attention and made me want to buy it in the first place. Overall, this is a very, very good skateboard and honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made. If you’re looking for a durable and reliable board, especially as a beginner, I would definitely recommend it.

Gonna be honest, I completely changed the design on the bottom didn’t really like the way it looked. However, it has done really well. No cracked very durable and have gone down some pretty rocky roads. My little cousin likes doing tricks with surprise. He hasn’t broken it yet. It’s a great. I’ve had it for almost a year and a half now.

My 8 year old wanted to learn how to skateboard. So she got this skateboard. Two years later, my 10 year old earned the nickname "Ollie" This board is great, we've had no issues with it.

I am not an "real" skater, so I can't go into the real guts of this versus a high end board. The deck feels pretty nice and sturdy. The grip tape is real grip tape. The trucks are decent, though I will probably replace the bushings with something a little stiffer (I'm a big guy). Not bad though. The barrings are pretty meh and I'll replace them soon. Once received the buyer should loosen the wheel nuts by a quarter turn or the wheels/barrings wont spin well. Much better after that. The wheels seem OK. Riding on asphalt is manageable if slow. All in all it is a pretty good board for the money. At least a good starter board. We bought our son a cheap one from Walmart and that thing is junk. Buy one of those if you don't want your kids to learn to skate.

I've been riding this board for over 8 months now, and it's held up great. I mainly use it to get around my college campus since they have lots of nice hills for dive bombing, and it's done pretty well. Ive have crashed and fallen many times, and the board and I are still in one piece. It has the normal wear and tear, but nothing dramatic. I'd say make sure to adjust the trucks to your liking, so don't end up with bad wheel bite like I did when first testing it out. I think this is a great beginner skateboard. The one upgrade I would make would be to replace the wheels and bearings as they don't have as much roll as I would like them to, and Ive even used some DW-40 to help them glide more.

I purchased this skateboard for my teenager and he is happy with it. It looks just like the advertised pictures. It seems sturdy and it rolls easily. We haven’t encountered any issues with it and it seems to be a good skateboard for a beginner.

I gave this skateboard to my 9 year old son for Christmas and he’s loving it! It’s a great size for him and rides smoothly. Well-designed and works well for beginners.

Awesome, stylish, great quality! My 12 year old son learned on this and got the hang of skateboarding almost instantly - can’t say it’s 100% the board but definitely made a good impression on me 😉
