Excellent clock!
While our family was stationed in Baumholder, Germany (2002-07) we bought this exact clock from the House of Clocks near Ramstein AFB. Ours was stolen a few years ago so we’re now ordering a replacement. I can say that the quality of this clock is up to German high quality standards and it won’t let you down. We prefer the traditional mechanical, non-electronic movement and chimes to keep a more authentic cuckoo clock. The 8 day movements in these are more expensive than the 1-2 day mechanical movements but I advise you to consider getting the 8 day because otherwise you’ll always be re-setting the three weights (sort of like winding a clock in case you’re not sure what powers the clock works).
