good for 4+ old kids
Finally a camera that doesn't come with games and has a high enough resolution to take decent photos and fair video. Very user friendly for a 4 year old.

Good camera for kids
Good camera, it's durable given how it's being handled by our toddler. It's easy for her to use and she's only 3yo. It looks cute and she likes it a lot. For the price, it's a great children camera. The features are pretty basic and easy for them to learn how to use it. The battery lasted really well.

Video is less then 4 minutes and you can't buy a new cover.
It's durable and cute and has much better quality than the little screen when transferring to digital media. I wish to purchase a different cover; it's the only reason I'm giving it a 4-star. If the cover is damaged, you can't replace it, forcing you to buy a new camera. The video feature is also only 3- 4 minutes max.

Kidamento makes a great camera to help kids grow intellectual and socially!
My 5 year old granddaughter loves it. It's easy to use and very cute. It feels solid and built to take a tumble if she were to drop it. I definitely recommend this to stimulate creativity, social interaction, self awareness, and adventures outdoors.

Will not work - buyer beware!
Less than one star really! I got this for my grandson’s birthday and it doesn’t work!! They have one like it already, so they know how to use it. The website will not respond to them so I need to buy another one now - really sad

My kids are OBSESSED! Best kid camera ever!
My kids LOVE this camera. First, the size of the screen is awesome for little hands. It is big and the images are clear. It is also a touch screen making it extremely easy for screen-savvy kids to use right out of the box! The button to click photos is big and the camera makes a satisfying "clicking" sound each time a pic is snapped. Second, the camera has all kinds of cool features that my kids love to experiment with. It has a selfie mode, timer, and takes both photos and videos. The camera has an adorable design with a high-grade silicone casing which means it is both attractive and well protected. It also appears to have a long battery life. It has lasted several days on one charge! It automatically shuts off after a few minutes so that could be why. My favorite part, you ask? The lanyard doubles as a USB cord for transferring images to the computer! Genius. I think I need to try the Polaroid version next. If only to stop the constant fighting over who gets to use it.

Perfect Camera for Kids
My daughter is obsessed with her Kidamento Camera. The camera is perfect for her little hands, durable, and takes quality pictures and videos. I love how the lanyard doubles as a charging cord. My daughter especially enjoys all the stickers, filters, and frames that allows her to explore her creativity. This is a great first camera for kids and a must buy!

Great toy, terrible camera
First up, my kid (four-years-old) adores this camera. She loves being able to take pictures and videos without borrowing (or stealing) mama's phone. It's easy to use and seems to be pretty durable. The image quality is pretty awful, but that's almost charming and gives the pictures/videos she takes a bit of a nostalgic Polaroid/camcorder feel with #nofilter required. The only complaint I have from a kid perspective is that the touch screen is a cheap haptic screen and not a capacitive touch screen (like what you have on your phone). That means that it takes force to register a command, which is great in some ways but also means that it's harder for your kid to get it to do what they want, and it's prone to getting mis-calibrated (registering a touch somewhere other than where you actually touched it, and thus getting no response -- or the wrong one >_<) The bigger problem is that my kid doesn't want to just take a bunch of pictures and then delete them. She wants to keep her poorly-compressed, 5 minute long video of herself just walking around the house and occasionally screaming for the rest of time -- praises that the camera automatically shuts off after five minutes of "inactivity", even if it's recording, by the way. This is problematic for two reasons. First, as stated above, the compression is terrible. That five minute video, despite the low image quality, takes up about a gigabyte of space. You can fill up a camera pretty fast that way. Second, the charger/transfer cable that comes with the camera is incredibly slow. It may look like a USB-C port on the camera side, but it does not operate at that speed. Just trying to watch video directly off the camera with it plugged in resulted in long load times, lag, and video running slower than the audio. My response was to say, "okay, I'll just copy everything to my computer and sort through it there". Copying over the 32 GB card took ~8 hours on a 2022 MacBook Pro. Long story short: if your kid wants to treat this like an actual camera and save their "special memories", I hope you've got a computer with an SD card reader and some solid backup options. Otherwise, prepare to have some tough conversations about scarcity.

Did some research & homework before buying it, indeed it is a super cute & lightweight camera. Choose Meowie the Cat comes with pink lanyard which is also a charging cable. Touchscreen & able to selfie without turning camera len around, so convenient. Tested, in good working condition & the best part is, audio was extremely good. Happy with my purchase & I’m 🫶🏼-ing it so much so is my child🥰

For the price it's not great, slow at shooting so specific to kids who have a really short attention span it's about 2/3 seconds between pressing shoot and if actually taking the picture. So in most cases the subject they where taking a picture of is gone or they have dropped the camera to their feet Alot of floor pics.

This was a gift for our child from Santa. She wanted the kind at the same price point that instantly prints out pictures but the film is very expensive for only 10 exposures so I'm glad Santa was sensible and picked this one instead. I was a but unsure if a 6 year old would be too old for something like this but think she's too young for the kind that has the expensive prints. This camera has 266 pictures on it so far and probably 75% of them are nonsense so I'm glad she can freely take pictures and no have to worry about the waste. Customer service at this company has been great so far. Very responsive to my questions and helpful. Really appreciated that! The lanyard contains the USB to charge to camera and it also connects directly to my printer for printing. My printer is almost 9 years old and I use the no name cheap ink and the prints are still pretty decent though I'm sure the quality would be better at a retailer or with a newer printer with high quality inks. She enjoys taking the camera on walks or around the house to take pictures. She also enjoys the video feature (although I believe the videos can only be 5 minutes and 40 seconds in length before it starts a separate recording.) The silicone cat cover is super cute and protects the camera but is also removable to make it more "grown up". The one negative is the lens cover seems a bit loose so it has fallen off before and I'm afraid she will lose it. Wish it came with an extra or that it was attached. The silicone also tends to attract dust/ crumbs/ hair etc. The touchscreen is really simple to navigate for her and me as well so that is nice. There's also a bunch of templates of cute images and faces to put with your pictures. The picture quality isn't as amazing as my cell phone but in good lighting conditions and with a steady hand, it's pretty good. Overall I'm happy with this when compared to other cameras aimed at kids.

We got this for our 4 year old son and he absolutely loves it! I wanted him to have a camera he could use rather than always using our phones for taking photos and videos. The Kidamento camera is great for him - it's very kid friendly and intuitive for him to use. We've only had it a couple of days now and it's provided hours of entertainment. I can't speak to it's longevity yet but it has survived the initial couple of drops.
