Powerful magnet. Good kit for solid door.
Magnets very powerful but will not work on hollow door that had the spring casing hole drilled all the way through.

I love magnets.
You'll love them, too. You know those stupid spring loaded chrome ball door catches that live on top of your closet doors? The ones that you can barely adjust and randomly come apart to lose the spring, ball retainer ring and ball somewhere in the room? Yeah, the dumb ones. Don't use those anymore. Replace them with these. I think every door I've applied them to has taken me all of 15 minutes. That's one pantry (double doors), two closets (double doors) and some garage cabinets (3 to be precise) in less than three hours work. The best part, it looks a lot more complicated to an outside observer than it is, scoring you some "deserved" down time to catch the game on Sunday.

Awsome Product
I use these on every door installation that does not require a lockset (i.e. closets, pantries, saloon doors, etc.). They are very easy to install and strong enough to position doors that are even slightly out of plane.

Picture misleading
The magnets themselves are strong and work as intended, but the picture shown is misleading. I expected to receive matte black and instead I received silver.
