Who was Nikola Tesla? Find out in this comprehensive volume that includes Tesla’s autobiography and scientific writings, as well as other works that examine his life and career in detail. Nikola Tesla came from a humble upbringing in what is now Croatia and reached the heights of science and technology in the United States at the turn of the twentieth century. The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla and Other Works gives readers a compelling insight into the man whose ideas revolutionized the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering, and who continues to be a source of inspiration for modern inventors. This volume includes Tesla’s autobiography My Inventions (1919), articles and diagrams that he published in scientific magazines—including “The Problem of Increasing Human Energy,” in which he discusses the potential of solar power—and Thomas Commerford Martin’s The Inventions, Researches, and Writings of Nikola Tesla . A scholarly introduction examines Tesla’s life and career, and the impact that he has had on generations of inventors up to the present day. It is leather bound, it's sad these kids think leather bound always means a soft leather cover.
I suppose it's always some younger people who say that these books aren't leather bound I guess because they think that a leather-bound book always has to be soft leather or something yeah these are leather round it's a thin layer of leather that stretched over cardboard usually that's how leather bound books have been for a long time a very very long time not knowing that these are leather-bound and saying that they're not just shows your ignorance and that you need to read more books and learn more about what you're talking about before you think you know so much because it's crazy for kids not to understand what a leather bound book is they're not always soft leather they rarely are and by the way these are cheap for leather bound books in general go buy your garbage coffee in a cloud so you can not have a hard copy to look at if you don't understand just what it takes for printers to facilitate Machinery Inc quality paper and then bind and sell all these together in the books and then ship it to at this quality for this low price. Uncultured ignorance to have never handled a leather bound of this kind so much so that your unaware leather can be stretched to produce a book cover in this way, it's sad, then thinking they know that this isn't a leather-bound book when it's pretty clear that that makes it obvious they really don't know what a leather bound book is I'm sorry but not to be mean about someone but it's ignorant and then to say it's not leather bound just because you don't understand you expect a leather-bound cover to be softer or something like that it doesn't make sense it's offensive to intelligent people that actually read I mean just imagine someone says this isn't what it was advertised as but they're saying that because they have no idea what the product is actually supposed to be that's advertised as because they have some naive impression of what that is and then they want to assert their knowledge it's like a smack in the face of how shockingly horrible our education system is stop buying the books if you don't understand what they are I'm surprised you're able to actually read them without actually understanding what kind of a cover it is but anyway make sure you don't eat it it's not food LOL you totally deserved all of that

Meticulously crafted
Arguably the best book containing Tesla’s research and writings. There is a similar book on the market titled “The Inventions, Researches and Writings of Nikola Tesla,” which is also leather-bound, and was published by “Barnes & Noble,” 2014. I will try to provide my reasons why I view “The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla and Other Works” published by “Canterbury Classic,” 2021 to be better in all respects. 1. This book includes EVERYTHING that is in the “Barnes & Noble” book, but also adds 84 pages of “The autobiography of Nikola Tesla,” 80 pages of “Other Articles,” and 70 pages containing “The Problem of Increasing Human Energy.” The autobiography comprises “My Early Life,” “My First Efforts in Invention,” “My Later Endeavours,” “The Discovery of the Tesla Coil and Transformer,” “The Magnifying Transmitter,” and “The Art of Teleautomatics.” “Other articles” are “Famous Scientific Illusions,” “Tesla’s Egg of Columbus,” “The Moon’s Rotation,” “The True Wireless,” “The Moon’s Rotation” (second part), and “Electrical Oscillators.” 2. I highly appreciate that the editors from “Canterbury Classic” did all the typesetting. Typos from the original “Inventions, Researches...” were meticulously corrected. (As opposed to “Barnes & Noble,” which seems to be merely a photocopy of the one-century-old original! E.g., the misspelled “strenth” on p. 126, line 8 from “Barnes & Noble” is spelled correctly on p. 374, line 8 in this version.) 3. All figures are of excellent quality. Bearing in mind how old they are, they are very likely the best copies that could have been used. (As opposed to this, “Barnes & Noble” had too dark pictures. E.g., Fig. 139, 140, etc. were virtually black.) “Canterbury Classic” did an excellent job. The pictures are resized to fit whole pages or appropriate gaps in the text. I like the fact that these are the actual Tesla’s writings. To me they are of much higher value than publications of certain modern authors, who may be tempted to “bend” facts trying to make Tesla’s work more entertaining. To sum up, this is an excellent collection of Tesla’s papers; substantially better than a similarly looking leather-bound collection from 2014. I’m rather surprised that “Barnes & Noble” are still bold enough to ask about 60 % more when you can buy this book from “Canterbury Classic.”

A very pretty book, but low quality binding
The book is amazing looking but the book binding is cheap, I haven't read it yet and the binding is still intact, but everytime I open it makes a sound that clearly indicates that the binding is slowly desintegrating. Hopefully I will prevent it with some glue
