Beautiful
Such a pretty thing! Bought to replace my old kettle which flooded the kitchen every time I made a brew. This one pours nicely and looks beautiful. The handle can get a bit warm if you get distracted and have to boil it twice. Make sure the lid is secure before you boil too!! I wouldn't recommend it if you have weak wrists as it can be heavy to lift and the position of the handle can be awkward. But I love it, it's makes a good brew and it looks so cute in my kitchen.

Lovely kettle
I love the style and shape of this kettle hence me placing an order for it. Boils quickly, it's rather heavy but I don't mind that. If you don't lift it straight after it's boiled then the handle can get rather hot. I've had it now for 2 months, it's started to crack and bang when I boil it. It's used a couple of times a day, so I'm hoping it's not going to give up after a few months of use....time will tell

Disappointed
Okay so - normally I choose function over aesthetic but we wanted something that looks classy so we purchased this alongside the Heritage 4-slice toaster. I should've stuck with practicality, because the lovely colour (which, by the way, is nothing like what's depicted in the product listing but it does match the toaster) is already wearing in places even though I believe we've treated the product with care. The ergonomics are terrible, I have to twist my entire body when I pour the water into the mug because of the style of the handle. Maybe I should've known that there's a reason modern kettles don't have handles at the top, but even still it's disappointing. The handle also gets unbearably hot if you boil the kettle a couple of times in a row. I have to use an oven mitt. And now the kettle makes a loud popping noise when it's boiling, not sure if that's normal but our previous kettle didn't do it, and neither did this one until this week! And, of course, they push the "established in England in 1958" stuff but it's obviously all made in China.Very dissatisfied with the purchase, and won't touch Haden again.

Hot Stuff - can't get enough!
Hot stuff.Boils water. Looks great in the kitchen.Enamel finish on Stainless steel is so mutch nicer to look at and unlike plastic doesn't leech into the water.

Great kettle
Iโve never heard of this brand but brought the kettle as I liked the look of it. It looks great in my kitchen, is really good quality and looks very expensive. The handle can get quite hot if you have to reboil it but itโs not a big issue

Handle in the wrong place
This is a lovely kettle/ design .. i wanted the larger kettle so it saved on boiling it all the time ... the big fault is the design .. the handle should be on the side not on the top .. because of that it makes it's too long/tall to lift an pour.

Kettle
So far this is a great kettle , good size , there some reviews about the handle getting hot and yes it does sometimes but not to the point it will scold you , it gets bit warm but you can purchase silicone handle protectors about ยฃ4 or ยฃ5 from Amazon if your worried but I don't find it a problem personally. Apart from that so far it seems good .

Such a beaut!
Love love love this kettle. It's beautiful and makes me so happy. Yes it is a little loud on the boil, but I find it to be quite quick so the noise doesn't bother me. The handle is fine to touch if used immediately after boil, but can get a little hot if left to stand for a bit.

Love It!
I don't know what others are complaining about in terms of the handle being too hot (unless they're boiling the kettle over and over again maybe??). Works just fine for me! Or maybe our British cousins are a little more sensitive to heat, whereas us Aussies are used to it - who knows! So, I filled the entire kettle up, boiled it, made myself a cuppa and used the rest to cook my paella and no problems! It looks absolutely beautiful next to the matching toaster too (very modern farmhouse) and am very happy with my purchase. It arrived in good time from the UK to Australia too. The only thing I'd comment on for Aussie buyers, is that it has a UK plug (that doesn't fit our powerpoints) and no adaptor - so you'll need to order one to go with it. So just be aware of this.BUT, when buying the adaptor (see my review for the adaptor which I bought off Amazon too), for some ridiculous reason, most of them are upside down and look silly in our powerpoints (see photo). Look for one that has the cords facing down; they do exist but seem to be rare - I don't understand why they made them like this - I know we live 'Down Under', but we're not upside down lol. I'm just putting up with this one for now - will order a downward facing one in future though. But in terms of the kettle - buy it (and the matching toaster) - it's beautiful and it works perfectly fine!

Terrible handle design
The handle gets really hot which is just a terrible design flaw and not safe at all. Very disappointed because it looks nice and I wanted to like it.
