Available for the first time on Hybrid 5.1 Surround SoundFresh Aire 8 is the final album in the Mannheim Steamroller Fresh Aire series. Fresh Aire 8 has a full sound that offers a well-balanced blend of synthesizers and orchestra richly augmented by the London Symphony. Always thematic affairs, the topic this time is Infinity and how it relates to all facets of human life...love, art, philosophy, mathematics and of course music. This allows forsome rather bizarre musical pieces as classic Mannheim Steamroller riffs weave their way through the tapestry of new sounds. The Fresh Aire series has always been at the forefront of sound recording technology. Whenever an audio store needed to demo a piece of expensive equipment, invariably the music chosen tosample on the equipment was by Mannheim Steamroller. This latest 5.1 issue by Fresh Aire 8 is predicted to be the definitive medium by which to judge digital surround-sound audio systems. All eight Fresh Aire releases were certified gold over the years it has taken to complete the series that began in 1975. Fresh Aire 8 is dynamic and refreshing and of the high standard of sound andperformance the audience has long enjoyed from this ground breaking group of talented musicians.

Not the best Fresh Aire release, but still good!
First off, I became a fan of Mannheim Steamroller 35 years ago when I was introduced to the first four Fresh Aire albums by my college roommate. I've been collecting Steamroller music ever since. I waited a long time to complete my Fresh Aire collection for a very long time because I was turned off by the reviews. Upon listening to this disc, I can say that those reviews were not fair. Although this is not the best release in the series, it is typical Mannheim Steamroller and that ain't bad. In fact, since receiving this disc, I have revisited my entire Steamroller collection and you might say rediscovered Chip's unique music. I still think Fresh Aire I, II, III and V are my favorites, And I still think "Yellowstone, the Music of Nature" is wonderful!

I had this music on a tape that is not holding up so good so I was glad to be able to get it on this CD. I also have it on my computer on I-tunes.It can also be heard on you tube. This CD though is the best. I put it on my stereo and have a much better sound.

Way back about 10 years ago a friend of mine suggested Fresh Aire IV and V to me - I've been hooked ever since and could not imagine them getting better - but in INFINITY - they have broke the laws of time and space. You will be transported to another dimesion - excellent - surpurb - fantastic - wonderful - magical

Christmas

Manheim Steamroller - Fresh Aire 8
This closes the CD series "Fresh Aire", keeping the same quality and good repertoire. Thematic and instrumental music are nice. This eighth album has tracks a bit busier and varied than the above, and perhaps some may find it strange. However, it is a hard interesting and good to be appreciated for those who like instrumental music in style. The series is very good. Very good! Note 8.0.
