Due to sensitive skin and redness, I was recommended this cream. Where others gave me more redness, this one soothed and calmed the redness. Great product indeed.

Brilliant product, healed my allergic reaction to eyes without resorting to my eczema steroids. Avene is my usual skin range as I am an eczema sufferer and cannot recommend enough.

I've used Avene for several hundred years as they are the only creams I'm not allergic to. This cream is gentle and soaks in quickly.

If you have sensitive skin would recommend keeping this in your house for emergencies. I had two flare ups and wasn’t sure what had caused them. By using this in place of moisturiser I was able to calm down my skin so it was back to normal. I also used the micellar face wash by same brand.

I have really sensitive skin and this always soothes it and calms it down. Can be a bit thick to wear under makeup, so you need to leave it a good half hour to soak in properly

A novel of my experience: Using this for the first time with their ultra gentle cleanser (alternating with a salicylic acid cleanser once a week or so) also for the first time. The cleanser and the face balm don't even make my highly irritable skin flush - as someone who has rosacea flushing and bumps this was the surprising; I am sensitive to aloe, oat, alcohol, borderline anything under the rainbow including the sun. After a week or two I really noticed that my overall redness was calming down. I added a nightly routine of jojoba oil (heard it was good for aging skin and easy, not a professional though) as well as consistent and religious application of a fragrance free mineral sunscreen. Honestly, my face hasn't been this happy in years. My triggered flare ups are few and far between if any in the last couple months. The balm isn't over the top hydrating, but my face is also in a healing stage in a dry climate so hard to comment on that. To each their own, but I would consider this part of my skin care routine for the foreseeable future.
