This is a really good simple unit . I originally purchased cheaper ones which were a pain it didn’t work at all. But this works seamlessly , really easy to wire and fit . Does what it’s supposed to . Recommended

First one would not respond to movement, I spent ages (to put it politely) "fiddling" with it. Fair dues I received a refund promptly. The new one worked fine straight out of the box, had the first one not wasted have a day it would have got 5 stars. I used it to control an expensive pir light that had already cost me around 40 quid for a new plug in pir unit which only lasted a couple of years, this was cheaper and gives more flexibility. Only downside as others have said very tight space for wiring up.

Cheap but surprisingly effective. Motion detection is reliable, triggering the lights promptly whenever movement is detected. The brightness is good for outdoor pathways and security, and the light quality is clean and clear. Build quality feels basic but adequate, and the IP44 rating gives confidence that it will withstand rain and outdoor conditions. Excellent quality and price. Wiring can be fiddly as there's not much room but it's not a problem to lower the stars. Works 100%, beat my expectations.

Get what you pay for. Cheap, works, for now. Quite a fiddle to install due to everything being a tad too small, and it won't go back together, so had to glue it.

I dropped this from a ladder when trying to install and it still worked perfectly after so that just shows that this is a good quality item. It was simple to install and looks smart. It also sort of looks like a camera, which can be good from a security perspective. It also has a really good range, and picks up people waking on the other side of the road as well as directly below! The only downside I would mention is that the cables can only run out from the bottom. In my situation it would’ve been better to run the out the top but there’s no way you can do this.

Seems to work well and use as a replacement presented no major wiring problems. However may be a little lightweight to attach to standard UK single core lighting circuits.

Useless. Sensor is supposedly adjustable, initially there was restricted horizontal movement - and as soon as I let go it sprung back to original position. There was virtually no vertical movement - again it sprung back to original position. On opening cover It was obvious that the connector block was not on its locating lugs and was jamming movement of sensor and the wires to it were causing the sensor head to spring back. I replaced the connector block onto its locating lugs, and reassembled the unit, the sensor initially moved OK but within seconds jammed again - the connector block had again pulled from it's locating lugs. I don't know if the unit worked electrically I didn't get that far. The inlet ports for external electrical cables were very small, and I believe would only have accepted mini - mains cabling. It is rated as IP44 which is questionable for outdoor use. I am an experienced electrical engineer, and am now using a "Luceco LED Tilt and Sivel Guardian Outdoor Light", (IP 65) from Amazon, much cheaper and reasonable quality!

Flimsy Chinese junk ,didn't work at all.
