If you’re looking for bulbs for your RV, I suggest you get these. I’ve never written a review before, but these are worth it. Got these to replace the incandescent bulbs in the reading lamps over the bed in our RV, and they’re great. Almost exactly the same brightness as the 1176 incandescent bulbs (according to side-by-side eyeball comparison), and very good color. Slightly whiter than the incandescent, but still “warm.” (A cheaper model of “warm” LED’s I purchased on Amazon recently turned the room piss yellow). They obviously use a lot less electricity which is great when you’re on battery, and they kick out less heat so the AC doesn’t have to run when on shore power. Be advised: if a bulb doesn’t work out of the package, try rotating it 180 degrees and reinstalling it before assuming it’s bad—like all LED’s, these have polarity, but the sockets don’t.

I bought a 10pak of these to convert the cabin lighting in my boat. They are cost effective compared to alternatives, and work great. Nice warm glow, not a harsh white or bluish like some other bulbs I bought. Unfortunately the boat has several different types of lights and sockets, and these won't fit them all. So I'm ordering BA15d sockets to convert the other lights so they'll all use the same bulb, and I'll order another 10pak of these. In some instances, I just removed the old mismatched socket and soldered the 12vdc wires straight to the bulbs themselves. With their long life, I won't have to worry about changing them out for years anyway.

Excellent! Changing these first to replace overhead dome lights in my suburban, the color was so accurate, it matched the remaining incandecent bulbs in the doors, and under seats. EXTREMELY BRIGHT! Have caught several people by surprise who have driven with me somewhere at night, "Hey can you turn on the overhead, I dropped my _______." (flick) "Holy mother of ________!" These 2 lights in the overhead cast enough light around there isn't a single square inch that is not lit up. Could not be more pleased. Have had them for 2 years and still going strong. I have the 'door ajar' trigger disabled so definitely not as many hours on them as if otherwise, but I have had several sessions of these on several hours at a time (working on interior after dark) with no ill effects. They do get hot, but not hot enough to damage any of my plastics these are sitting in. I'm buying another set just to keep on the shelf incase they get discontinued for some reason. They are that good.

Update-So nearly 6 years later and a lot of use these lamps are amazing! No dead LED's in the bulb and they are just as good when new Used these to replace the existing 1076 lamps used in a pendent fixture in my RV. Very happy with the color rendition ( warm white) and brightness. For those techies the 1076 lamp is 23 watt (almost 2 amps) and about 400 lumens x 3 in my fixture. These LED lamps are about 4 watt (.3 amp) and 450 lumens. So went from about 6 amps to about 1.2 amps with same amount light. Hopefully long term reliability will be there.

Few no good out box several more failed after few weeks minimal use.

The description includes this unit as a replacement for a 1004 incandescent bulb, but I see the title does not include 1004. At first I was worried because these LEDs are longer than the 1004 I am replacing. However, there was plenty of room in the fixtures on my boat for these LED bulbs. They give out plenty of light (a bit more than the 1004s), and the color is a bit whiter than the 1004 (I consider this an advantage....indeed, I think the light color is perfect). The bulbs seem well made and packaged. They took a few weeks to get here because they shipped from China, but that was no problem for me. I couldn't be happier. (Note: be sure to install the bulbs with the right polarity; it the bulb doesn't work, rotate the bulb 180° and re-install; the positive and negative contacts must be correct or the bulb will not work.....unlike an incandescent bulb which will work in either orientation.)

I bought this pack of 10 bulbs for a sailboat I'm restoring (1987 Cal 28). It had incandescent bulbs throughout the cabin that would drop the battery voltage by .3 volts just turning one of them on. I put these in and didn't see any drop at all until i turned on 4 of them. They fit just fine, and so far all of them have worked (have tested all but 2). Not sure how they'll stand up to the elements long term, but inside, in a decent enclosure, I expect they'll last quite a while. The lights are a bit bright for the berths, but are great in the galley and salon. They're also a little on the white side(but not blue), but I like that. The incandescents were too dim and orange, probably good for at night (to keep your night vision), but not great to see or read by. I'll probably order a set of the smaller ones for the berths, and save the rest of these for the next boat.

I put a pair of these lights in my semi truck dome light, they are sooo bright that I only turn on one of them!! A pair of these would light up a large room in a house!!!! So if ur looken for a really bright interior light, these are the ones u want!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I'm using these for my dome and trunk lights. Works great, and they're brighter than the DE3175 bulbs they replaced! The only drawback I'm having is that they're slightly too large for the compartments I put them in - I should've ordered 24-LED or 32-LED bulbs instead of 48-LED ones. Which means they're sitting on the diffusers, through which we can see the individual LEDs. The diffusers are warm to the touch, but I haven't seen any molten plastic yet. Installation was easy, and the 3M sticky side sticks well.

Replaced my interior RV lights with the GRV Ba15d LED lights. Nice and bright, not like a poorly lit cave anymore!
