Farberware Nonstick Aluminum Jumbo Cooker Saute Pan, Helper Handle, 6-Quart

A very nice pan at a great price. Love the deep sides, very versatile for many different recipes. I've used it to make spaghetti sauce, beef stew, chili beans and chicken marsala. It is very sturdy but not too heavy. It heats up evenly, it is easy to clean, and so far everything I've cooked has turned out great. Definitely happy with this purchase.

Large interior cook surface & very deep to fit a lot of food. Non stick cooking interior. The depth also prevents grease splatter on the stove. Thanks, Farberware; I LOVE IT & use it daily.

Used this for several months. I liked the price, the size, the tall sides, the great non-stick surface, and the nice lighter weight for such a big pan. It heats and cooks well. The negative was the bottom, which when heated, expanded and slightly bowed downward in the middle which prevented good contact with the flat cooktop surface. I was able to turn it upside down and give it a whack using a block of wood and a hammer and it mostly fixed the problem. I like it enough to keep it.

Update august 2026 - well it’s been just about 7 months and the nonstick coating has already failed in multiple areas. It also lost its flat bottom, and has developed the dreaded bulge, albeit not as bad as on the T-fal. Despite that, I am ordering another one to replace it, since it is so cheap and has a somewhat decently flat bottom. I just spent about a month buying different nonstick sauté pans to replace my old T-fal which was nice, except that the bottom of the pan had bulged inward, creating a dome inside the pan that caused all the liquids or oils to migrate to the perimeter of the pan, rendering the center portion unusable because it was always dry. I tried buying a brand new T-fal and it was bowed from the factory. I ordered an All-clad 12-inch skillet, and it was surprisingly heavy and had a very poorly designed handle, making it painful to hold even without any food in it. I then went to Sur La Table and purchased their ceramic coated sauté pan, and discovered after opening it that it had the same bowing problem out of the box. I finally decided to try this Farberware. After all, it was the cheapest of all the sauté pans on Amazon, I didn’t have much to lose. And to my surprise, it has a perfectly flat bottom! When you pour oil into it, the oil stays where it lands, it doesn’t move to the sides by itself. I can finally use the entire surface of the pan! The coating is fine, perfectly nonstick, the pan itself is lightweight, the handle is comfortable, and the pan is slightly deeper than the T-fal. The lid is nothing remarkable but it works fine, although the lid handle has kind of a weird shape. Overall I highly recommend this pan, and I think it has great value for the money. After all, it is a nonstick and will need to be replaced once the coating starts degrading, so low cost is high on my priorities.

I can’t be without this pan. It’s used constantly during the day for 3 growing children and hungry adults. Had to replace the last one as someone left it unfortunately on the stove and forgot to turn off the flame for a while. Love this color! Handle never gets hot and it’s large enough for MMS m family meals for 6. It’s no going to last a lifetime but if it lasts 2 years with the amount of wear we give it it’s great for the price.
