Works really well
I bought this after buying a small 6kg melting furnace. The burner that came with it was not very good and used a huge amount of gas and struggled to get the temp hot enough to melt copper. Once I lit this burner I knew it would be much better. Uses less propane than before and gets the furnace hotter faster. It does take a little work to set the airflow right but it's worth the trouble.

The burners were easily set up and they get the small forge I ...
I bought x2 of these one with the regulator / one without and coupled them together. The burners were easily set up and they get the small forge I made to welding heat very quickly. For my forge build I used a 5 gallon portable air tank from Harbor Freight as the body, cut my windows and burner port holes with and angle grinder and 1 1/4" hole saw blade, welded on x2 6" lengths of 1 1/14" inner diameter black steel pipe as vertical burner supports, lined the tank with 2" super wool, used rigidizer (which made the applicaton of the slurry / Satanite MUCH easier as it just stayed rather then fraying up the super wool and causing it to pull apart and stick to my paint brush), painted on 1/4" layer of Satanite by building it up in x3 separate applications fully curing each layer first, then I applyed one full pint of ITC-100 again in several increments. The only thing I had to do in order to get the proper flame was set the burners about 1 1/2" back from the actual forge body and fully open the adjustable air vent sleeves on each burner. This combination made the perfect flame and has never given me any issues. Having said all of that, this was my very first attempt a building a forge, and I have no blacksmithing experience at all. I watched dozens of how to videos on youtube and started buying necessary forge supplies when I had the opportunity. It took about 1 - 2 hrs a night for about a week to build the forge. It will take MUCH longer for me to be a competent blacksmith LOL. I'm so glad I did finally build a forge as this has been a very fun experience and I now have a hobby I will probably do as long as I'm physically able. I'm also having fun teaching my 17 year old as I go and it has been a good way to spend father - son time. In conclusion I've never bought any other forge burners, however I can't imagine any other burner being easier to set up. I got it right the first time by folowing the advice of keeping the burners 1 1/2" back from the forge body and fully opening the air intake by moving the sleeve up as high as it will go exposing all f the round air ports. Now go build your forge already you'll be glad you did!

Great price!
Excellent product. Looks like it's going to last a long time.

Great burner.
This burner does take some time to fine tune but it is very efficient; it gets the forge very hot very quickly. I am actually designing a second forge around two of these burners because they are that good.

Good construction. Pain to tune and get working properly
Construction is solid and well made. Problem is that the flame despite spending hours tuning it the flame burns within the burner. I'm trying to run two burners on two 40lb tanks and they just seem to need more fuel. I'm going to try and get a couple 100lbs propane bottles hooked up and see if they work this way. But currently very disappointed especially considering the price tag on them
