Can you buy replacement sponges and ceramic balls which are the same as provided in the pack please.

Well, we're all still waiting, 2 years later! Even with careful cleaning these sponges become less effective over time, where are the cheap, sponge only, promised spares? You seriously expect us to buy a whole new replacement unit? You could put a sponge spares item on sale tomorrow if you valued your customers! I won't buy Aqaa again

How often do the sponges have to be changed

If you regularly clean them when you do a water change. Clean one sponge alternatively. They should last 6 months or longer.

Hi all am i correct in thinking that the 3w or5w indicates the wattage of the filter? thanks in advance 👍

It is the power of then internal motor of the filter so doesnt require a seperate air pump as this as built in motor the 3 watt is for smaller tanks say 20 gallon the 5 watt is good up to 30-40 gallon

Its working but no bubbles, is this normal?

Yes its fine. If you want to have bubbles you can insert an air line but i have 2 of these and they are great with no bubbles and very quiet. Also make sure u keep the outtake along top of water to allow surface agitation.
