Ordering leather goods on line is something I rarely do -- I've been disappointed too many times. HOWEVER, to my extreme delight, Berliner's travel duffel bag exceeded all my anticipations. Not only is the bag a delight to look at -- it is stylish -- it has several extra features which surprised and delighted me. A secure inside zippered pocket, for example. Also there were two additional articles included: a tooled leather key fob and a tooled leather ID holder. This ID holder is made like a tank -- virtually indestructible. I'm confident that this is not going to be the only item I order from Berliner Bags.

I bought this bag to replace a Wilson black "leather" bag that I had been using for years. I took that bag to the gym, used it for overnight stays, and I used it a lot. Imagine my dismay when one of the straps broke indicating, along with the broken zippers that it was time to replace the bag with something else. Finding something that had good capacity and yet was well built wasn't easy. This bag fits the bill. It holds maybe slightly more than the Wilson bag but is much more robustly built. It's a heavy bag, even when empty but that is really what you want. My biggest wish for the bag is that it have either two zippers on the main compartment or have a zipper that follows a "U" shaped pattern so you can more easily access the large and spacious interior. It has one zipper that goes right down the middle and if you have to put a lot in it, it's harder to squeeze it all in. Great bag. Worth the $$ IMO.

I bought this as a present and was very pleased with the craftsmanship, the quality of the materials, and the overall appearance of the bag. It is the right size for an overnight or weekend trip depending on how much you pack. It has a great shoulder strap. I would buy this again and am looking at other Berliner products as a result.

We ordered two of these durable travel duffle-type bags. Everything about these Berliner leather bags is top notch. Even the zippers are durable and high quality. Check out the listed sizing on their different products; these bags are generously sized. The interiors are properly finished as well. We were so impressed, that I also ordered a Berliner briefcase as well. This bag will patina nicely.

This bag is perfect, although maybe a little too big.Knowing that Germans take pride in quality work, I opted for this Berliner Bag over the many other bags I looked at!My husband has not used it yet, but I am confident that he will love it!

I was hesitant to purchase a leather bag from Amazon, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Berliner bag. It was a gift for my husband and he is hard to please, but ended up loving it too. Leather looks great and bag is well constructed. Hardware looks nice too.
