Everything you need to get your kids fishing
Lightweight rod that my 4 year old was able to learn how to cast within minutes. Casting distance is better than anticipated. The net and tackle box that are included are great for stocked trout and panfish.

Perfect beginners fishing kit for kids
This is a great fishing kit for kids learning to fish. The rod has line already strung. The assortment of lures is nice. The net is adjustable in length and can accommodate most fish. It's very lightweight for kids to use. The rod and reel are compact when stored, but almost full size when extended. Nice sensitive rod and easy to use reel for beginners. The kit fits in it's bag under my truck seat. Perfect to travel with.

Good Starter Kit for Kids
This is a good starter set for a kid. The pole and net are small enough for little hands, but sturdy enough to hold up against the elements. The tackle box is somewhat small, and there aren't that many pieces included, but it's enough to get started. The carrying case is roomy enough to hold the rod and box, though it could be a bit larger. Overall, a good set to introduce kids to fishing.
