You need to place it in the hose thread to prevent water leakage.

Took it on my travel to Europe. Worked fine. At times the pump seemed to give up. Had more to do with the switch. Had to tweak it a few times to make it work. On the whole a good product.

Its good for travel, but its start not to work after 5 days of use , its not star working directly when i push the start button and take about 1 minutes to work agian.This not my first time buying it , but This is the first time I've had problems with it.
