First helmet, and most likely the best for it's price.
Arrived 2 days before, quality seems great and it was a nice fit even with a balaclava on. They have vents that you can open and close, neck warmer has a zip that you can take off. It is comfortable and seems durable for the price. Comes with a tinted and regular shield cover, overall it's worth it and will be using it as my first helmet for my Suzuki Katana. Sorry for the first blurry photo.

Get this helmet. Seriously.
You have no idea how stoked I am to finally have found a brand alternative to Speed and Strength. S&S, by a longshot, manufactures the most durable, comfortable, high-quality, well-designed helmets on the market. Problem is, they've gotten more expensive and harder to find (especially in my size). I've pretty much given up on them as my go-to brand. I tried a 1Storm helmet a few months back. I wasn't impressed. Design was awesome, shape of the helmet made me feel like an extraterrestrial riding around my motorcycle. When my last S&S helmet fell apart last Friday, I took a change on this brand and I'm super glad I did. I got the matte black helmet and installed the tinted visor and I have to say, it was so sick I couldn't believe it was only $60. I was so stoked I was doing some ninja moves in my helmet and my dog was looking at me like I had lost my mind. What I like about this helmet: # It's got a quick release strap # It's soft on the inside # It's breathable material; I didn't feel or notice much sweat in my helmet which is impressive for the Arizona heat # It's beautifully designed, I didn't see any imperfections in the helmet design or finish # The tinted visor is REALLY tinted, like black-tinted not that stupid smoke color everyone tries to sell you. You have no idea the difference it makes while driving around in Arizona. Seriously. First, you can not escape the sun. And about half the day, it's only agenda is to try and kill you by blinding you with its death rays. As soon as you drop that tinted visor down, you forget the sun is even there - that's how harmless it feels. You would think that with as dark as the visor is, it would be hard to see. I know it's so strange to say but the clarity of that visor is superb. It's not dark at all from the inside, at least not like you would expect when you see the visor on the outside. It's like looking at everything through some super, super clean sunglasses. # It's just all around a very decent and reasonably priced helmet. What I don't like about the helmet: # Who came up with the zipper idea?! I want to know because it can't be someone that rides a motorcycle. I do not want a zipper around the base of my neck! If I want to cover my neck, I'll just cover it with a jacket or something else. That's not my helmet's job or problem. Just stick to the stuff you got right and get rid of the zipper and I think you'll have people coming back for years. I'm just glad it's discreet but I still have to look at it every time I put my helmet on. Bottom line is: If you only ride occasionally or once in a blue moon, stick to the more expensive helmets - it's better to be safe than sorry until the newer brands are put to the test. You're not very likely to run through them that fast because you don't ride as much. But if you ride every day like me, a simple drop of the helmet from hip-height walking down the hallway at work could impact or ruin its ability to protect you in the future if the material inside expands. Gets expensive so it becomes a bit more practical to choose a reasonably priced helmet because you end up having to buy 1-3 each year if you don't treat them right. Get this helmet. Seriously. You'd be crazy not to sport this around town. Next paycheck, I'll be getting another color. Can't wait.

Decent, very loud.
This is a great starter helmet at a very reasonable price. It’s simple to get on and off and the straps aren’t too hard to adjust. A true to size helmet with nice features. Extra visor for day riding. Keeping the sun out of your eyes. However, the visor doesn’t close very well after a while. Letting air in and in turn, making the helmet extremely loud. I recommend wearing hearing protection. My ears hurt after long rides, leading me to buy a nicer fitting helmet.

Great product for the money
What a perfect fit!!! I ordered size L. Im very happy with the fitting and how comfortable it is. Its very light, the only complain I see is the chin strap, it doesn't have the snap button so the wind slaps it on my skin.

BEST HELMET I EVER HAD! (SIZES RUN SMALL!)
Easily the BEST motorcycle/bike helmet I ever owned! I’ve always owned open face helmets with goggles but wanted to try something different. I just bought an electric E moto dirt bike that’s road legal and I wanted to look less like a punk kid and more like a functional adult so that cops leave me alone so I gave this full faced helmet a shot and boy was I impressed! The helmet is super light which is good cuz I have a bad neck/back, it seems durable and is well built. The neck guard/bib zips on and off with ease and the zipper is NOT visible when the neck guard is removed which was something I was concerned about.. the zipper side that stays on the helmet stays tucked into a seam so you don’t even know it’s there. The buckle on the helmet is aluminum and carbon fiber, nice and heafty and insanely easy and quick to buckle and unbuckle. I’ve never had a helmet before that had a buckle like this and I’ll never own one again that doesn’t! The face sheilds are nice, comes with a clear sheild pre mounted and a tinted one as well. The tinted one is actually quite easily to see out of from the inside, it’s not as dark as it looks on the outside from the inside which is Exsclty how it should be! You have privacy while using it but can also still easily see outward in low light conditions. The side padding is removable with buttons to clean it and is soft and plush. I normally buy small helmets, I chose to go medium as I heard the sizing runs small and I’m glad I did because the medium fits me like a glove.. a small 100% would have been too tight on me. So if your normally a medium go large, if your normally a small go medium and so on. I have nothing bad to say about this helmet, the paint finish is nice and matches my matte black E bike. For $50 this helmet is an absolute STEAL! Also the air flow from the vents feels suficiant!

This helmet saved my sons life!!!!!
I ordered this helmet for my son July 20th, and it arrived July 23rd. After reading about several diff helmets and reviews I chose this perticular one solely due to customer reviews that mentioned being in any accident and it saving their life or family members life! I'm here adding to those specific type of reviews bcus It Saved My Sons Life!! He unfortunately only got to use this for 3 weeks and 1 day. He was in a horrible bike accident Aug 14th, he's alive! He suffered from having major head, face and brain trauma. They did have to remove almost the whole left side of his skull the day of his accident. He has deep facial and skull fractures including shattered eye sockets. His bottom jaw did not break but everything above it did. Behind both ears in the skull fractured, his nose, both cheeks, his eye sockets and in between his eye brows are all fractured. I've wondered since his accident happened if I could've afforded a high priced helmet would it have protected his head any different than what this helmet here that I bought him. I have let it bother me that I'm the one who bought everything he had on including the bike he wrecked. From the bike to the helmet to the chest/spine armor gear, all came from me and my husband. It really does sit on my mind pretty heavily. But I have had Everyone tell That helmet saved your sons life and have told me if I haven't left a review yet that I needed to leave a 20 star review on it and give it the true appreciation it deserves, because without it he wouldn't be here with us today especially due to the head trauma he endured. So I am here to say hands down this helmet 100% saved my sons life regardless of the head/face/brain trauma. He tried to pass another vechicle on the right that was turning on the same street. Unfortunately it caused a really bad accident in the end that evening. He and them both hit a stop sign, he went air born and hit a telephone pole and was about 92 feet from point of impact. His head took the brunt of it all! The officer said it is the worst bike accident he's ever seen or personally been on in his career. And said that my son is lucky to be alive and he thanked God for the helmet he had on or for having one on in general that day!! In the video you'll notice there's a crack in the mouth area piece and up in the middle of the forehead area..from the those two points and across is where he suffered the most trauma and damaged. . but imagine if it wouldn't of been on protecting him and his head at all whatsoever. He literally wouldn't be here today had it not been for having this on that day!! From the moment he recieved it he was like WoW Mom this Is a Really Nice Helmet and it fits Great!! He really liked that I chose this perticular one!! And I'm really happy I didn't go with a helmet that opens at the jaw area, a flip up type of helmet. Bcus I looked at one before going through with this perticular one. And im so glad i got this instead!! I don't have photos of when he 1st recieved it but I do have them after the fact. I'll be forever greatful that I picked a good one and eternally greatful that this helmet saved his life!! Thank you for making such a great helmet bcus without it my son wouldn't have survived his wreck 3 weeks ago!! He's got a long road of recovery ahead of him, but he's been doing well for what it is over these past 3 weeks! To any curious customers or people looking at new helmets, this is a really phenomenally well made&structured helmet!! I would recommend this to anyone in need or looking for a new helmet to buy!! I'd most definitely get this exact one again!!

Looks really cool and seems like it'll protect your noggin
Alright, well right off the bat, I'm going to start with the one thing that I really didn't like about it, and that it is that switching the visor from clear to tinted was INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING; it seemed simple, but somehow it ended up taking me about 40 minutes, to the point where I was beginning to think that I had received a faulty visor. The little hooks on the visor itself that go into the helmet's locking mechanism also seemed fragile/flimsy enough that I was worried I might accidentally snap and break the hooks and render the visor completely useless. But, in the end, I finally managed to snap everything into place and get the visor on, and I'm probably never, ever, EVER going to switch it back out to the clear one. This helmet is affordable enough that I think it'd be easier to just buy another helmet and keep the clear visor on that comes already installed. That being said, I really like everything else about the helmet. For one, it looks cool, and that to me was the most important factor in purchasing this, other than my desire to keep my brains inside my skull and working properly for the rest of my pathetic days. I did think the shape of the visor was a little more narrow and aggressive-looking over the GLX helmet that you can find on here, and that's the main reason I bought this ILM helmet over the GLX one, although I'm sure both helmets are good products. Second, this ILM helmet is VERY COMFORTABLE, way more so than the $200-$500 ones I was trying on at my local motorcycle supply store the other day when I was trying to figure out which helmet size I am. Maybe I'm just lucky in that I just so happened to have the right head shape and size for this helmet, but I mean it, it's VERY comfortable, and the padding is very soft and foamy. Also, I'm able to consistently put this helmet on without folding my ears, and that's saying a lot because I have pretty bigger-than-average, outward-sticking ears. The quick-release chin strap is also just as the name implies: very easy and simple to lock in or release. As I'm writing this, I've yet actually ride a motorcycle (my riding course is next week), so I can't really speak for the noise, but again, my main criteria for this purchase was looking cool and keeping my noggin safe and intact, and for this price, I couldn't have asked for more. However, I DID in fact receive more than I was expecting because of the comfort this helmet provides. Overall, great product for the price, even though the visor and visor mechanism seemed a little iffy to me at first.

Functional, but poor usability, no ventilation, not ECE certified. Not recommended.
Update: I've increased my rating by a star because, while the original review still holds true, I now have experience with this helmet in a crash. This helmet helped me survive an SUV running a stop sign and slamming into my side while I was biking to work, the helmet transferring the force of the impact into my collarbone instead of my spine. The crash had enough force to snap my femur in two, and my clavicle in three pieces. But my head and spine were completely fine. I'm grateful for this product, and glad I purchased it. Original: While the neck guard is amazing, the visor is not. It constantly fogs, no matter my speed, and with full ventilation. The ventilation is simply negligible, I had to triple check there was nothing obstructing the ports because there's just no air exchange. It defeats the point of making a winter-specific helmet when I have to crack the visor anyway. Otherwise, it all mostly works as intended. The padding inside is comfortable, the strap works well, even with one gloved hand. The helmet scratches super easily - I've never gotten into a crash, but it looks like I have, despite only gently setting it down anywhere. The visor also has a nasty habit of randomly jamming while I'm riding, despite it being attached properly. Which probably wouldn't be as noticeable if I didn't have to constantly mess with it so I can see! Overall, I don't recommend this helmet. The quality feels poor, it just doesn't vent, and it is a general headache to use. Since there's no ventilation, there's no real noise issue, but that's not something I cared about. The only reason I've kept this is because I can't afford a better one yet, and it's an upgrade from my old one. I don't feel it's safe enough to recommend to anyone. It's also only DOT certified, NOT ECE certified, and it shows.

Stylish, Safe & Street-Ready: ILM Full Face Helmet Rocks!
Bought this ILM full face street bike helmet for daily rides and weekend trips, and I’m really impressed. It fits comfortably right out of the box, with soft interior padding that feels secure but not too tight. The visor is clear and gives a wide field of vision, plus it flips up easily when needed. Ventilation is pretty good too, so it doesn’t get too hot inside even on warmer days. The design looks sleek and sporty, and the overall build feels sturdy and protective. For the price, it’s honestly hard to beat. Great mix of safety, comfort, and style — definitely recommend for anyone riding a street bike!

seems legit....
my husband bought this... new to riding a bike. he ended up getting a different one just by sheer luck, so didnt use this one and sold it to a buddy. overall the helmet appeared to be good quality, although you really wouldnt know unless you got into an accident and survived it? .... so its hard to say... for now a 5 star... if something happens to his buddy i will update my stars. also my husband has a larger melon; and it fit good.. so it works if you have a "big brain"

Looks fairly good
Seems decent quality though not high end. My hat size is 7. The vendor recommended medium for hat size 7 (22 1/4”) which is what I ordered. It fit a little tight especially around the cheeks but not terribly uncomfortable. The visors are a pain to change. The smoked one was very difficult to get the right side properly seated so it would lock in. The left side snapped in a little easier but not by much. If this isn’t done correctly the visor will come off in the wind. The smoked visor is a bit cloudy when the sun is shining directly into it making visibility impaired a bit under direct sunlight. The clear one was perfectly clear and not cloudy at all in direct sun. The instructions were nonexistent. You just get a little 4 page booklet in English and Spanish that only talks about precautions and a bit about the quick release buckle but nothing on changing the visor which wasn’t complicated but is important to understand how to do it correctly. I haven’t used it yet so if there’s anything negative to report, I’ll amend the review in future but for now it looks pretty promising for the money.

Very impressed
I was very impressed by the quality of this helmet. Pleasantly surprised to find that it has a built-in neck scarf. Perfect for someone who has an extra large head like myself! Super comfortable
