By putting to of these on my sprinkler system it will prevent me from going in my crawl space several times per year. One to drain and one for supply. Thise things work both with working water pressure and without. Some valves require pressure to use thankfully these done. They installed like every other ball valve I have ever installed. They are simple to install and only 1 wire to connect to the battery pack. They take about 5 to 7 seconds to fully operate the ball valve. They operate easily in the app. Adding them to the app was effortless. I would highly recommend these if you need to remotely monitor and shut down water lines.

I use this automation so I can have peace of mind and my water is off when I'm not home I have mine set up to turn on when we wake up turn off when I take my son to school and turn back on when he comes home from school and turn off at bedtime to ensure that we don't have leaks while we're sleeping or away awesome product I have it set up and will be connecting it very soon easy to connect to your water supply I'm using PEX tubing so two PEX clamps and some thread tape and I will be in business with peace of mind. I also love the fact that you can override it so if I do happen to come home or if my son doesn't go to school you can just open your app and override awesome!

I'm very impressed with this product as it adds protection every homeowner should have. I've paired this valve with 18 sensors throughout the home in the event there is a leak while I'm not home. I had a water leak sensor that was audible only and it detected a leak from a kitchen faucet while I was watching TV. I knew at that point I needed something that offered more protection when I wasn't home... enter Yolink! If I wasn't home at the time of leak what damage could have been done to my cabinets and floor. Cost is inexpensive, technology is very well thought out and impressive and batteries in sensors can be replaced but last a long time. You can't go wrong with Yolink. P.S. I saved some money on my homeowners insurance installing this which in time helps pay for product.

I have a saying at my house: "No cloud allowed" when it comes to IoT things. Smart devices are fine but must be able to function WITHOUT an internet connection (IMO). I have several YoLink leak sensors that can "bind" with the YoLink Smart Siren and YoLink Smart water valve. If a sensor trips, the siren goes off AND the water valve closes. NO HUB OR INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED...NOT EVEN FOR INITIAL SETUP! Granted, you won't get notified on your phone, but the siren will certainly wake you. Plus the water will be shut off so there should only be minimal leaking. Also the range is incredible. I have outbuildings over 500ft away thru thick forest. No problem.

I go back and fourth between two homes, and when the toilet line broke in my main home, I knew that I needed a system to monitor and control my water systems when I was away. The Yolink Smart Valve System was the best decision that I every made. The system was easy to install and easy to work. The smart valve works so well that I bought several of the other projects. Yolink products are the best!

Several times the valve did not respond to being turned on from app.
