20L Petrol Can Fuel Oil Storage Can Metal Jerry Diesel Tank

I recently bought this green steel 20-litre jerry can at £23 incl P&P, despite some of the less favourable reviews about it, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Its robust construction feels incredibly sturdy, and I'm reassured that it can handle whatever I throw at it. The can arrived well-packed, and in perfect condition, so I have no doubt that if looked after it won't rust. The built-in handle is comfortable to grip, even when fully loaded, which is essential for carrying it around. I’ve filled it with fuel, and it performs flawlessly with no leaks. The spout design allows for smooth, controlled pouring without spills. It came with a spare gasket for the nozzle. Overall, this jerry can is a good investment for anyone needing a reliable way to store and transport liquids. Highly recommend!

The original fuel can. This goes back to WW2 or further i'm guessing , very well made , old style sealing rubber on the lid , pretty heavy when full . The nozzle is not that flexible but they never have been , we have 5 of these at work ( garage ) and they will leak at some point but ours get abused . In short i bought for at home for a generator , it lives in a hot garage and i have had no issues ... excellent storage if you want a bit more than 5 litres . I would add .. Do Not fill to the brim and then put in a hot garage , any liquid will expand with heat !

Excellent quality, no leaks on the can itself. nozzle is ok but rubber gasket it comes with is poor and I got a small amount of fuel leaks from it. Not really an issue for myself as I don't use it very often.

Yep good and no issues. I filled one with diesel and put it in the boot of the car as a winter reserve. It’s a fairly small car so would probably get about 150 miles out of 10litres. The only issue is the diesel slips about in the can as the design doesn’t allow for filling up to the top - there’s an air void. If you can put up with the occasional sound of diesel slopping around this is a good piece of kit. No leaks at all and no smell.

For filling and storage, not bad at all. As other's have said no leaking and no smell. When it comes to actually pouring and using the stored fuel in the can though, awful. The metal attachment they provide doesn't seal properly and after playing with the rubber seal and trying about 10 or more times I couldn't ever get a clean join. I have 6 of these, so I thought it could just be the specific metal adapter I was provided, so tried 3 different spouts. Same issue. Because the metal entrance of the spout isn't made with tight tolerances, it's not the correct shape to form a seal. The fuel then pisses out of the sides of the spout all over whatever you're trying to pour into, and down the side of the can, over your feet, down your clothes and hands. Brilliant. Kinda defeats the point in being able to store fuel if you can't get it into the vehicle or appliance you wanted to store the fuel for without it going everywhere and having to throw away your shoes and trousers because you've been coated in unleaded.

Purchased as needed to empty motorbike tank. Great can and takes the full tank if required. Came with a metal flexible funnel which attaches securely to the canister which makes putting it back into the tank super easy. Great size very easy to use. Would recommend and would buy again if required. A+

Good sturdy can but the spout doesn’t fit properly and the petrol pores out of the top where the spout attaches to the can. Disappointing.

Nicely made. Filled and kept ready. Went to use and found the seal is missing from the funnel which made decanting very challenging. Cannot us it again. Shame as it was a nice design.
