So you design the mold upside-down? If I want to include alpha beads would I do them backward ?

Not sure if this helps...there is a lip that goes around...I have used the mold both ways..but I think if you are going to use it as a coaster...the lip should go up to catch the liquid from the drink.. sorry I don’t know anything about the beads your speaking of!

I would think if they’re made the same way this one is made you be perfectly fine getting smaller ones same company I would check?
