Quick fix for corners on a damaged bag
This product is amazing. Dries quickly, coverage is nice and light and covers up any scratches. Not slippery, wipes clean. No lasting color on your hands. Color does not go onto your clothing once dry. Great product

Try this on your vinyl!
Untreated boot on the right, treated one on the left. I was taking a chance here, since these Mia "Jody" Boots are 100% faux leather. They're by far the most comfortable all-day boot I've ever worn, more so than any high quality, high price leather brand, so it was worth finding out if I could spruce them up a bit after over a year of constant wear. Also, I wanted to lean a little more into a rust tone, since my favorite Portland Leather Goods bag is more of a russet shade. This is what one coating of the Russet Brown cream did to the original 'Luggage' brown color of the Jody Boot. I'm absolutely stunned, it's beautiful. I cut a narrow strip from a regular dish sponge for precise application, and just scrubbed the cream into the vinylโincluding the sides of the sole, and the heel, which are also vinyl. I let it sit for one minute to dry down, then buffed it well with a soft microfiber cloth, which produced very minimal transfer. Basically a 5-minute makeover. Since the Mia boots are so inexpensiveโI got these brand new for about $30 when on saleโI plan to get another couple pairs to see how the Red or the Purple creams might transform brown faux leather. It's clearly pigmented enough to alter color, not just renew it. Highly recommended, obviously.

Works perfectly!
I have a Relic handbag I just love. Unfortunately, it got stained. In the process of trying to remove the stains, the bag faded- badly. I really wish I had taken a picture of the bag before I used this product so I could show the difference. It was amazing! The handbag looks brand new. The product was super easy to use, and I didn't smell at all. I'm extremely happy with this product, and should I need any more leather polish, I will be coming back to this company.

Make my favorite red coach purse like new!
I took the picture after I did half the front of the purse, just to show my sister how excited I was. The cream soaked in, buffed easily, and now my favorite purse is ready to go! It is red, which can be hard to maintain. I've had it for years, a gift from my sister. I quit using it because it was so worn out looking. This was so easy! I saw it on a facebook reel, and decided to give it a try. I researched all the different creams, and so glad I chose this one. The red is the exact red of my coach purse - a bright rich red. I also purchased a set of brushes that came with a buffing cloth. The brush made it easier to rub on the cream without getting it on my hands etc. I did one coat, buffed it. Took a break, then did a second coat and buffed a lot. It made the leather feel so good again. I put extra on the seams and the handle which showed the most wear. I don't know if this is water proof yet, but I expect it will be. I highly recommend!

Tarrago cream is a very good product ... but colors are not always true to expectations.
I ordered Tarrago #15 Dark Gray. It's not really all that dark at all. At best it is a medium gray, and actually it's a bit lighter than that. I could see it wasn't going to match at all (for filling in some cracks in some non-shoe leather). I thought about blending some of the Tarrago #15 with some Black (Saphir) Cream to try to get the color where I needed it to be. But it turned out the Black (Saphir) Cream did a pretty good job by itself. It filled the cracks darkly but not so much that they stood out against the gray of the leather. So I ended-up returning the Tarrago #15. Tarrago Cream appears to enjoy the reputation of being the best shoe cream product, other than Saphir. They are both owned by the same company, btw, but they each build their own historical formulations in their own historical factories, Tarrago in Spain, Saphir in France. With Tarrago Cream you have to be OK with it being water-based (instead of solvent-based). Water-based puts a limit upon how much pigment the cream can suspend; solvent-based creams can suspend more pigment. On the upside, Tarrago seems to have the widest palette of colors among all the major shoe creams. However I do see other reviewers here also saying that the Tarrago color they get in the glass jar is off from what they expected it to be from looking at the name and the color pallete.
