very nice shut off valve
Bought 3 of these to upgrade our half bath. Very nice. left water on while remodeling bath with the 3 shut off valves installed with one side open, no leaks! Now every thing is installed and I am very impressed with the shut off valves. Will buy these again.

Good servicable valve. Doesn't leak
The female pipe threads were machined just a little large, so I had to use an extra couple turns of teflon tape on the male threads to get a good seal. That is better than just a little small, which would have made it hard to install. The valve body seems to be chrome-plated-brass, but the handle seems to be chrome-plated-zinc, and I"m not sure about the screw that holds the handle on. If this were installed in a corrosive environment, I would expect the handle to corrode in 20 years or so. Overall, it is a good valve, not a museum piece. But angle-stop valves don't need to be beautiful. They just need not to leak when I need to use them.

NIce solid feeling valve.
I bought these to replace some older multi-turn valves that no longer fully turned off the water supply even when fully closed. The were easy to install (after turning off water to the valve), seem leak free, and completely turn off the water supply when turned off. Overall very pleased with these valves.

Will buy more if needed
Replaced old copper compression valves in bathrooms. Ad pic is wrong, this has shorter turn handle. Quarter turn is life long quality. It has hollow metal ball for water control. I like that the body has hex exterior that you can use a spanner or 3/4 wrench to turn. Some other is round so you'll have to use a pipe wrench or vise grip, risk marring the chrome finish. Don't buy the brasscraft brand from your local Big Orange store, that one has plastic ball. If you would rather locally, sharkbite brand also has metal ball with the large oval turn handle.
