Don't be deceived by this listing, it's a single arrestor for the price of two. Amazon support has informed me that the images are for advertisement only and don't related to the actual quantity.

Great for ADS-B receiver bulkhead antenna mount
FlightAware's 1090 MHz and 978 MHz high-gain antennas come with an N female (threads on outside) coaxial connector built into the antenna. It's very difficult if not impossible to find an N male (threads on inside) bulkhead adapter suitable for creating a secure and/or weatherproof ingress point for an ADS-B receiver box. This lightning arrestor effectively serves that purpose. The N female side is connected to the box, and the N male side points out. I don't need the arresting functionality (entire assembly including antenna is mounted in an attic), but it also doesn't hinder performance at all. I have a top-100 global FlightAware receiver that's been running with this adapter for the last three months.
