This is larger than I wanted, but I couldn't find a 1 qt. version. The handle matches the kitchen and it works as it should.

I read a lot of reviews about these tea kettles, both the one with the black plastic handle and the wooden handle. Many reviews said that the one with the black plastic handle gets very hot. I prefer the look and the price of the one with the black plastic handle and since I needed two I decided to purchase of one of each. I agree with previous reviews that the one with the black plastic handle gets very hot to the touch. The wooden handled version stays comfortable and cooler to touch. I've kept an eye on my black handled version with regard to overheating, so I haven't had any issues with melting but I definitely need to use a pot holder, whereas the wooden handled version does not require one.

For the price it’s actually very nice. I like it whistles when the water is hot, convenient to pour, you just lift up the spout, the wood handle is nice, doesn’t get hot at all, I’d definitely recommend.

Works well and does what it’s supposed to do. Just be aware that the wood material can start to burn over time. It’s cheap enough that I don’t care, but it now looks pretty ugly.

Good product for the price. Definitely does its job for what it was purchased for. I still use it, but some pieces have come off or broken off.

I use it exactly as directed. I don’t fill it above the max line and I put it on a burner that is smaller than the base. As soon as I pour my boiling water, I pour out the excess and leave the spout open and the top of and let it dry. Would recommend.

This kettle is really neat and cute. Easy enough to keep clean but gosh is it noisy! (And I don't mean the whistle.) I don't know if I got a faulty one, but it makes this weird loud noise while it's heating up lol. Every time! Shipping was on time. Give it a try, maybe I'm doing something wrong...

Cumple con la funcionalidad, el acabado está muy bien. Mas adelante veremos la durabilidad, pero de momento todo bien.
