Works well. Sticks fine to floors or carpet. Much better than some I have used that came up after a few hours. I use this a bit during the year for meetings and I recommend it.

Excellent product. Using it as a strong tape. Like that it doesn’t leave a residue. They should be hired by Amazon to teach a thing or two, so we can reuse and recycle Amazon’s packaging. I am tired of pulling at packaging labels so I can reuse or recycle the underlying material (plastic or paper) and am left with sticky residue and parts of label that won’t come off. Even the gaffer tape’s plastic packaging had a label that came off neatly without a tear and no residue. Kudos!! Have used it outdoors over winter to secure a broken glass window, not perfect for long term outside use but did the job.

I wish I could write a clickbait article about this tape lol. It's absurdly expensive, but it's also very very cool. - It's not very sticky, but sticky enough. - But it turns out you really don't need too much sticky most of the time -- for example, rope isn't sticky but it binds very nice.. A lot of times tape works just like rope, and you need only just enough sticky. Basically, it works great as "rope". - Used as in the above "binding" rope way, it's at once very permanent AND very easy to remove (because it's not sticky). Imagine that! - It's rips easier than hockey tape. It is the easiest ripping tape I have ever encountered. - CON: The vertical rip is just slightly off vertical, enough to be frustrating. - It's still better to cut it with scissors if you don't want the frayed edges showing and want the tape to blend in with itself. - It is also one of the easiest cutting tapes I have every used. Basically -- it turns out that, for a lot of tasks, we don't need the stickiest, toughest tape. We really just need tape that is "sticky enough", and that looks clean. This tape -- with the unfortunate caveat that the vertical rips are slightly off-vertical -- does just that.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of this gaffers tape..I believe the real purpose of this tape was for use on movie sets securing props but I cant confirm this. We use it alot where I work for the purpose of taping down all the audio visual cords for events and classes. Its the ONLY type tape I ever use for this purpose as it secures the cords safely to our carpeted flooring preventing guests from tripping on cords as they enjoy whatever program we are putting on. You can also use it to hold lots of things in place on most any surface knowing it will come off clean as a whistle..Duct tape leaves an awful residue.. It keeps the cords in place perfect until you need to take it up WITHOUT ever leaving a residue. Gaffers tape can be tricky to use as it will stick to the sticky side of itself for life lol so there is a technique to pulling it up not letting the sticky sides touch but this one difficult prob is well worth how awesome the product works in this application. This is my first purchase from this seller on Amazon and Im impressed! We always used Uline products and this tape here is just as good and WAY cheaper!!! I'm talking for 7 years I've been paying $37.00 PER ROLL Yikeees - I will be back as soon as I run low as this product is awesome!!! So great I took the time to write this review so other folks will feel confident to try it if gaffers tape is what you need. This proves more $ doesn't necessarily mean better. THIS cheaper version works just as good as the expensive brand I have used for years.

Good quality and nice coverage

Let me start off by saying I'm not a Gaffer. Heck, I'm not even sure what a Gaffer does, aside from tape stuff to other stuff. I'm quite sure this would work great for that. I bought this because my new kitten has learned that flipping a specific light switch gets me all upset because my computer is plugged into the plug controlled by said light switch. Kitten loves doing anything he can to drive me crazy. Kitten loves doing anything he can to drive my dog crazy too. I tried a temporary fix using electrical tape to block his ability to flip the switch. All that did was mark up my wall, look ugly. Kitten laughed at the new challenge and continued shutting off my computer. I fired up Amazon when he was sleeping, because a sleeping kitten cannot turn off my computer. I searched duct tape, didn't like any options and came across this REAL Gaffer tape. It was the right color, the right width so I figured I'd give it a shot. Now my lightswitch doesn't have ugly black tape on it, in fact you almost don't notice it on there because it matches so well. It's very high quality and I wouldn't hesitate to try it if I was a Gaffer (whatever it is you folks do). The kitten hasn't been able to turn off my computer so the world is a happier place. He still terrorizes my dog though. I wonder if I can tape Kitten to something to give the dog and I some peace?

Dosent stay stuck for long, duct tape would have been a better choice

I have framed some of my oils using float frames. This tape great when need to finish edges. Makes for a professional look.

this product is not for outdoor use - after the first rainfall it completely started to peel off … garbage
