Life Saver!!!
After hours of searching for something (other than replacing my perfectly good car stereo just to get an Aux port), I came across this little item. It works perfectly. The sound quality is amazing. Just like I was listening to a CD. (I use an iPhone 4, and an old mp3 player) I could not ask for a better product. I highly recommend this product. My stereo is the Pioneer DEH-P6500 (non DVD) Simple to install. Just plug up and you are listening like a champ!!!

Good product
Its worked great for me. I can now connect anything to my car sterio. An ipod, laptop, basically anything that takes a 3.5mm connector. You ofcourse need the 3.5mm to AV connector.

Exactly what I needed
used this on a Pioneer head in a 2004 Hyundai Elantra. Fantastic little car with a great upgraded head unit. Unfortunately the car has since been sold but this accessory input allowed me to use all sorts of devices through a 3.5mm to Stereo cable I plugged into it. The sound quality was crisp and the existing interface was easy to use.

It works
Since optical discs are no longer as useful as they used to be, repurposing the aux connector normally used for changers was a natural way to extend the useful life of my decade-old stereo receiver. Once plugged into the rear of the deck (and hastily managed through the underside of my dash) all I had to do was enable AUX as a source and it worked like a charm.

...
I give this product a 2 out of 5 stars not because of the product itself but because of fraud on the company's part. The manufacturer wrote on Amazon that this product would fit a 2005 Honda Odyssey, which was false, and in the end I lost money, time, and patience.

Bluetooth unit working fine with only RCA to AUX conversion wire
Just what I needed to add bluetooth to a non-bluetooth stereo head unit. However during a mock-up installation found that the bluetooth didn't work or maybe wasn't needed? Bluetooth unit working fine with only RCA to AUX conversion wire! Still happy about purchase for future customizing!

Works
All you have to do is plug this in and fish a line cable to where you want it. I don't have much experience at all with car stereo installations, so it took a bit to figure out how to get the stereo out to plug this thing in-- basically, my son did it. I could get snarky about how difficult it is to activate AUX mode on our Pioneer stereo itself, but that's a one time thing, and we did get it to work. And so without too much difficulty, we were able to connect our ipods directly to stereo, and it is great.
