I bought this last minute to cover my greys for a wedding I was attending. It was easy to apply and blended well with my natural color. Most importantly, it completely covered my greys and stayed on until my next hairwash.

This is a great product for between root touchups. I love how easy it is to use. Be careful if you do rub your head the powder substance will come off. Very worth the price.

Know what color u need before purchasing. I bought every single color. I’m a level 6/7 ash brown. The rest of my hair is balayage level 9/10 blonde. LIGHT BROWN is for level 6 ash blondes or browns. It matches my hair perfectly. Medium brown is dark dark ash brown, borderline black, like a level 3/4. Dark blonde is a level 7 blonde. Med blonde is Warm yellow/gold like a level 8 and light blonde is a warm yellow gold level 8/9. It will not cover dark roots! It will make them look ashy like dry shampoo does. There is no ash blonde option. Make sure you know what color to get and be prepared to wipe this off ur face, ears, forehead and counters. It is SO powerful when it comes out of the can. U can’t just lightly spray an area, u basically blast ur scalp off spraying this. If u try n lightly spray it, it drips out. I’d suggest using a towel to cover ur face and skin before spraying then a little water will wipe it away where u don’t want it. The other thing is, if u scratch ur head with this on it gets under ur nails. I wash my hair 1x a week bc it’s curly, course and dry. After 1 day this stuff chunks up with ur scalp sebum and comes off on ur pillows n u def ur nails. I’d suggest getting a root cover up pen to do hairs around ur face and your edges...there’s no way to do those without spraying ur face with this stuff. It will absolutely cover your gray if I get the right color to match ur natural root. I’m not dying my hair anymore and I’m letting the root grow out,this is a great solution for Grey even if it’s a bit messy

This is a perfect, natural looking cool toned brown. It doesn't look splotchy on my scalp or flake at all. I use it at the roots so my hair doesn't look like it's floating above my head. Iykyk

I use this to cover my grey. If you spray a little and then comb through it will spread out and cover more. Then do a little more. If you spray after combing and styling, it will stay on better. I want lie to you. If you scratch your head or touch it for any reason it will come off in you hands or fingers. I use it anyway, Don’t want to dye my hair. It works for me. Just be aware to keeps fingers out of your hair. Lot

L’Oréal root cover up - medium brown … the color was great , but it does not cover my gray hair . When I spray it on , it goes on almost sheer . I’m a Cosmetologist , and I like the Clairol root spray much better . The Clairol matched perfect , added volume to my hair & covered my grays 100%. I do Not have a lot of grey yet so I only want something to camouflage the front of my hairline. I definitely will not order the L’Oréal again . If you don’t want to alter your overall hair color, these type of root sprays are awesome for in between salon visits , or if you just want to keep your natural color &just camouflage.. it is great .

This stuff is awesome. Apply lightly and you will find it really covers the gray in a very natural way. Just be careful when applying it, as it tends to splatter a few drops here and there on your counter. Catch it right away, and it wipes off with a damp cloth, but don't let it sit on your quartz or granite countertop for too long.

Works great! The instructions are accurate..the spray lasts for one washing. I spray my grey roots before I wash my hair and then it looks 100% natural after washing. The medium brown is initially more like black but when it’s washed once it looks brown. I used to use the Water Colors brand but I haven’t been able to find it and this one is just as good.

I did not have high hopes for this product but it worked really well! My hair is dyed fairly dark brown with a bit of a reddish hue to it (in the light) and my roots are dark brown (nearly black) with about 10% grey. I had almost full coverage with just a couple sprays. It dries fast and looks great. I did notice it had a bit of a funny feel to it but not a big deal. Just be careful about the angle of spray because it will mark light clothing/counters. It washed off my counter and hands right away though.
