What are the strings for and front or back?

The Strings go in the front, when you pull them and tie a bow they make the ruffle around the neckline! Example being the picture of the girl in the Black Leotard.

My daughter wears a 6. Should i order the 4-6 or the 6-8?

I think these run small and would go up a size

Is this leotard Lined?

Not a leotard but has a nice cloth (panty-like) under the skirt
