the powder received is greyish brown, nothing like matcha and smells rancid. it is not green tea, and upon trying it it is bitter and tastes like ash

Dull green color with biiter taste
It has bitter notes to it and a dull faded green color which changes to brownish-green color upon mixing with water, I get that it's not ceremonial matcha but still you have to maintain the standards of a regular matcha
