Does anyone know how standard manduka blocks compare to gaiam athletic ones (50% firmer) in terms of density and support? thanks

There are 2 types of Manduka blocks. The cork block and the foam block. The cork blocks are more dense than the foam blocks, however, Manduka foam blocks are much more dense than the Gaiam blocks. For your reference, the cork blocks weigh 2.5 pounds and the foam blocks weigh .6 pounds.

My fellow yogis, do you recommend cork blocks for my journey to headstand or would you say foam blocks work just as fine?

Foam blocks work just as well, but cork blocks are eco friendly (and foam anything is not) and the cork blocks last pretty much forever, and foam blocks do not. :)

One. Be advised. I used my block in my hot yoga class and for some reason it has mold or mildew on it.

Do all of these recycled blocks have "practice on" engraved in large letters on one side?

I ordered the Midnight in the two-pack in June 2022 and the blocks did NOT have “practice on” embossed on them; only “Manduka.”
