Works Great As A Capo - But IS A "NO ROLLER"
This one or at least the one I got works great for a Capo, but it does not "glide" or "roll" with ease. Yes it will roll but it takes both hands to get it to roll or you have to roll it from the front which defeats the purpose. Some say it's to tight that causes it not to roll, but I think I'm seeing the opposite. When you roll it from the back the springs stretch and maybe because it's tight on the front or the roller is just to hard to roll, the springs just stretch out and the roller just doesn't roll until you roll it yourself. It is easy to just roll it yourself to the spot you want initially, but if you are going to do that just use a clip on one. Again, works great as a capo when set where you want it, but that about it. Update: I tried this cheap one on different guitars and I stand corrected on it not rolling correctly. It didn't work worth a you know what on rolling on my Dove Acoustic or my J200s, but those have a thin neck, but on my Artist J200 with a tree trunk neck, my Larrivee and my Recording King guitars, all which have a pretty good size neck, it worked fine as it was tighter on the neck and just a little push it rolled fine. So I would say, think about neck size prior to grabbing or just pay the $9 and give it a try as whether it rolls or not it works great as a regular capo.

Really tight fit
It works okay but it's really tight and almost changes the tone in fact it does change the tone. Doesn't slide around very well between frets for a fast key change.

PEEEE-UUUU
Was so excited to get and use this product; however, wow -- it smells!. The plastic must've been made from something not very clean. Evidently there must be fumes from the plastic parts because it made my eyes burn a little too. Product goes on very tight, making the maneuverability harder to switch chords. Sure looks easier in the video! Maybe I'll try stretching the springs out a tiny little bit, but I don't see using it much due to the pungent smell. Will try soaking it in something to irradicate the odor. I can't give it good ratings if I don't anticipate using it until it loosens up and smells better. Makes me wonder if the more expensive versions are better?

Give the springs time to stretch.
I almost wrote my review too soon. When I first got it, I really liked it as a capo because there wasn't any buzzing anywhere it's placed on the fret. It's always perfect. It's worth the price as just a capo. I found it difficult to use the rollers for key changes though. But, after leaving it on my guitar for a few days, the springs stretched a little, making it much easier to roll to different frets. I posted a little video showing that. It takes some practice but I'm sure I'll get good at it. Pay attention to the sound of the strings. Notice that there isn't any buzzing on any fret it's placed. Don't think about it...buy it.

Not A Fan
1-bad off gas from rubber, I had to wash the smell off my hands every time i played with it. Yes i tried the vinegar and baking soda and it did cut the smell down but you should not have do that. 2- had it on my Taylor 214cen (nylon string) for 2 days (12+ hrs playing) moving it all over the place. even when it was just in the stand i would move it when i walked passed and the unit never felt like it was breaking in. 3- left it on over night to stretch out the springs and the Nylon string left indentions on the roller. the roller did recover but it took awhile. 4-there was no way it was going over the nut to get it out of the way. 5-i did not care for how much it hung past the neck on the bottom it did not work with my playing style. Please keep in mind this is on my Taylor 214 CEN, your guitar may be different. for 6 bucks it was worth as shot but i returned it.

Works great
I saw the ad for the Glider on Facebook, it looked like a really good idea. I rarely order anything thru Facebook, I go to Amazon or eBay to see if they have it. It's usually cheaper, ships faster and with Prime you get free shipping. Amazon has the Glider for the same price as the ad on Facebook, $34.99. When I scrolled down, I found this one for $5.99. Okay. I decided to try both and compare. They both work great, they roll easily and put enough tension on the strings so that there's no buzzes or rattles. When not in use, I can roll it over the nut and it doesn't change the tuning of the guitar. The shaft on the glider is a little bit thicker diameter and the rubber looks a little more pliable. It's possible the Glider is using and higher grade of steel, it's hard to discern. Other than that I can't see a difference. Time will tell if the springs on this one will remain strong enough to keep sufficient pressure on the strings but for now I'm giving it 5 stars. If it doesn't, I'm only out $5.99. I'm keeping both, one for my Martin and the other for my Breedlove.
