Not particularly good solution...
Perhaps my own fault for not examining more closely...The arm folds only on the horizontal plane, providing no height adjustment. This means that the fact that the clamp can only be applied "so high" (to the limit of the underside of the desk), I can't get the keyboard train to where I need it (heigh wise).Additionally, even if I tighten the joints so much that I can't freely adjust the distance of the arm, each of the joints is so loose that the tray actually looses height as it gets further from the clamp. This may not be an issues with the joints, but could actually be coming from the fact that the clamp can be adjust to work on a horizontal bar instead of a vertical (which is a nice feature, but not if it's going to be this loose). If I snug up each of the joints, the arm pivots on the clamp (I'm not willing to "over tighten" the clamp, as I don't want to risk bending the metal of my desk legs). The manufacturer claims that the keyboard tray is 10" (10 inches) deep. It's actually only about 8 3/4. I'd imagine that for most folks, this isn't an issue, but my keyboard is *actually* nearly 10" (like 9 7/8 ish) deep. I was counting on this tray being deep enough for my keyboard. With some finagling, I'm able to get it to sort of "snug in", and it works well enough in this configuration, but it's not ideal. All told, it's a collection of little problems and minor disappointments. The non-adjustable height issue is probably my own fault. Not so much on the rest.
