I seen this and thought it was interesting. But I don't know what this is for can you explain it to me. Is it for a machine or for help ceiling bags?

The tape is for vacuum sealing machines such as those manufactured by Foodsaver (see www.foodsaver.com). The tape is applied to the sealing machine, over the heater strip. This provides a smooth surface that will not stick to the bag being sealed. The original tape eventually gets wrinkles from repeated use, making it difficult to seal the bags well. Assuming everything else functions on the machine, replacing the teflon tape will restore your machine to perform like new.I hope this helps. does this fits cuisinart VS100?

I don't have that model so I can't say it does for certain. I think it would though as all the foodsaver models I've seen have an identical heater strip section.
