Revolutionized my sleep and breathing habits!
I've struggled with mouth breathing for years, especially at night, which led to dry mouth, snoring, and restless sleep. One day, my mother-in-law and I were talking about our snoring, and she told me she had researched and tried the Nose Breathe Trainer. Said she was sleeping better, and the sleep monitor on her phone confirmed it had cut her snoring significantly. After the conversation, I did more reading about the benefits of nasal breathing—like how it filters and humidifies air, produces nitric oxide for better oxygen delivery, and activates the nervous system for reduced stress—I decided to try the Nose Breathe Trainer myself. It's super simple and comfortable: just place it in your mouth, and it gently suctions your tongue to the roof, encouraging nasal breathing without any pain or hassle. From the first night, I noticed deeper, more restorative sleep with less snoring (my wife won't let me go to bed without it!). Over a week, I felt more energized during the day, with less fatigue and even better focus—probably from the improved oxygenation and brain health benefits. This little device is a game-changer! No more waking up with a sore throat or feeling congested. It's discreet, easy to clean, and has held up well after three months of use. I ordered a second one to make sure I had a backup for my travel kit. If you're into simple, natural solutions and want to tap into those nasal breathing perks, this trainer is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Works (for me) even better than advertised! I've had my first one for over a year.
TLDR: I've been using this product for over a year, this is my second purchase. This trainer was exactly what I needed and it definitely helped (in my case) address the very specific use that it claims to address. For me it helps to keep my mouth shut at night to promote nose breathing, and helps mitigate the snoring that comes from a jaw that's too relaxed and falls back. I like this product because it's simple to use, comfortable, transportable, and requires no real customization. It's also nearly invisible. It quickly created a bit of suction, helped position my tongue towards the roof of my mouth and helps to keep my mouth closed at night. No more dry mouth in the morning! I've also seen the trainer have a positive effect on my mouth positioning even when not worn as they claim. If I slip back into old habits, I simply wear the trainer again for a while and it works to break the habit. The company is also very responsive, sends a lot of documentation to help you learn how to use the product, and follows up to check on your progress. You may be purchasing through Amazon, but you are supporting a small business. I've been pleasantly surprised at its effectiveness over the past year that I've been using it and this is actually my second purchase. My first one is still holding up fine and I believe it will last even longer, but I wanted to have another as a backup because I like the results. To learn more about the benefits of "proper breathing" I recommend the book "Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art" by James Nestor. There's an entire section on the benefits of training to breathe through the nose and this product helps address the issue at night, when we can't consciously work on it. Especially for the very reasonable price I can highly recommend the product to anyone who's struggling with snoring or open mouth breathing at night. It's worth the small investment to see if it works for you because if it does, it will - quite literally - change your life.

Comfortable and highly effective device for snoring and mouth breathing and mild apnea.
This was initially recommended to me by a cranial osteopath, who uses it herself and recommends it to patients. She gave me good advice, which was first, to expect a two to three week adjustment phase when it will not feel natural or comfortable in the mouth, and second, after I got the hang of knowing how to position my tongue in a way that created some suction behind the device, to just cut off the protruding handle which is there so you can reposition the device easily and learn by "feel" when the tongue is properly placed. I've bought four of these so far. One for my husband, one for my travel bag, two for me. I no longer have a dry mouth or nose that awakens me in the night, and there is a real reduction in my mild sleep apnea. I now do not feel comfortable sleeping without it (although it's meant to be a trainer, and eventually to be unnecessary because the tongue position will become new normal, I still like wearing the device.) I tried a more aggressive one, also small and made of medical grade silicone, but it grabs the tip of the tongue and pulls it via vacuum pressure, and couldn't stand the discomfort; this one is superior and it works. As for my husband--he no longer snores! I used to have a terrible time falling asleep because his snoring began as soon as my light was turned off, but with the Nose Breathe trainer that's no longer happening. I wonder about the people who obviously didn't give the device a settling-in period for getting used to wearing it and then blame the device. It is definitely not a scam, and it definitely works well if you work with it. Anything in the mouth is going to feel strange, until it doesn't--this one is the most minimalist I've found, and also completely effective. I have a very small mouth, my husband has a very large mouth, and it works for both of us.

Excellent device, once modified
This device was unusable until I modified it. The whole goal for me is to learn to sleep with my mouth closed, and this device has little 'wings' that hold your mouth open almost 1/4 inch! So I cut the wings off (which was risky because it meant I could not have returned it if it still didn't work.) But with the wings off, it is great! It's very comfortable, and completely effective in keeping me from mouth breathing. And the little stick in front makes it very easy to adjust and to take out if you want to talk to someone for a moment. My other concern is the info sheet that comes with the device. Not reassuring at all. No basic instructions, and NO INFO ABOUT MATERIALS. The listing on Amazon says it's medical grade silicon, but the paper with the device does not confirm that, which makes me nervous about using it. It feels like silicon, so for now I will hope that it is. But there should be some kind of materials information included with the product! Bottom line, if you're willing to cut into a brand new $35 device to modify it, and if you're willing to trust the listing about the silicon, this is a great device for stopping mouth breathing. If not, don't buy it.

THE ONLY DEVICE THAT STOPS SNORING AND APNEA FOR ME!!!!!
LOVE AT FIRST BITE!!!!!!! THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS FOR ME! The Nose Breathe is THE MOST EFFECTIVE tool for snoring and stopping sleep apnea. I am a slim, athletic 60 year old woman who has snored my whole life. I have had dental issues (lost teeth from grinding) due to malocclusion although no one would notice this as I have a wide smile. I have had my jaw advanced with orthodontics as an adult, I am in CandidPro (invisaline) at the moment for crowding on the bottom teeth that started 3 years ago. I have tried every snoring device (pillows, vibration gadgets under tongue, other mouthguards and tongue holders). I do like mouth tape (just a small piece to hold lips together). Patrick McKwoen's tape doesn't seem to stop my snoring. I am currently working with a Butekyo breathing coach to slow and minimize my breathing to lower turbidity. I am practicing myofacial exercises during the day and meditation. THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS ME FROM SNORING IS THIS NOSE BREATHE TRAINER and it is only $35. If I had this 1, 5, 10 or 15 years ago, I could have saved $30,000 or $40,000 in root canal (it has been removed), dental, tooth extraction, custom orthodontics, ozone, coaching, devices and products!!!!!!!! I have just ordered a couple more Nose Breathers. Had I had one when I was skiing in Austria and another tooth cracked from grinding, I would not have lost that tooth!!!!! I went everywhere in Austria to find a mouth guard to protect my mouth from grinding (my bite as very off at that time) and couldn't find ANYTHING! Had I had this before the trip, I may have saved a tooth. I will never be without it as an insurance policy if my jaw gets tight and wound up again. I am simulanteously working on my breathing (Butekyo) and myofacially releasing tight muscles in my head, jaw and neck, which I never realized I had. The NOSE BREATHE TRAINER is a GAME CHANGER for me and my health. When I wake up to see on my SnoreLab that I had slower breathing with minimal disturbance and a low Snore Score my day is better. Plus, I don't have to worry about disturbing my partner's sleep (he has been very kind (by the way) through this journey with me), but I understand nasal breathing is fundamental to wellness and not having a heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, asthma, allergies and other related health issues. Also, my hip (which bothered me for years) is no longer bothering me at all.

Life Changing!
I wear the Nose Breathe trainer some during the day (typically while driving and sitting at computer) and at night to sleep. Due to childhood teeth removal and shrinking of mouth I am now going through an expansion to improve/restore airways and tongue posture. This tool has greatly enhanced my progress and overall comfort. It was a gradual introduction but I have had a lot of growth, improvement and overall ease with implementing the Nose Breath Trainer. It helps to regulate breath and overall nervous system. I can breathe easier and the discomfort in my body due to current positioning melts away. SO grateful for the benefits of this product and it's simplicity.

This nasal breathing trainer is remarkable!
This Nose Breathe Trainer has changed the way I sleep and breathe! I have been using one for at least 2 years now. It also prevents me from grinding my teeth at night. Unlike other mouth guards and devices, this one is made of soft silicon and can be trimmed for a more comfortable use as well. I have been a mouth breather all my life and now I breath through my nose during the day as well as at night. I sleep so much more soundly thanks to this wonderful nasal trainer. Even as I am writing this review, I am aware of how my tongue automatically is sitting now in the right place - the roof of my mouth - without me making an effort to do so! Nose breathing is so much healthier! For me it also has the added benefit of preventing me from grinding my teeth and this was an issue that had caused one of my back molars to fracture and be removed. My whole mouth, which is quite narrow is now so much more relaxed. I highly recommend this product. It lasts for ever and for the cost - what a deal! Thank you Dr Sue for inventing this!

Not working for tongue posture
I bought this to try to train my tongue to stay in the correct position when asleep. When first putting this in my mouth and tapping my molars together, it lifted my tongue to the proper resting position. However, it required a lot of effort (clenching my teeth) to keep it in place—my jaw got tired and started to get sore. My tongue was also able to move to the bottom of my mouth very easily, as the “shelf” is almost nonexistent. I wasn’t really able to close my lips around it. I couldn’t fall asleep with this in for a few reasons. My jaw was hurting, it made me drool like crazy, and every time I started to drift off, as my jaw relaxed, the suction pulled my tongue forward between my front teeth—probably a worse position than what I was trying to avoid by purchasing this device. The pro is that when it was in the correct position, it was very easy to breathe through my nose, but I don’t struggle with that in general.

Need help
How do you use this nose breathe trainer??? No instructions came with my order. I watched the video that said put it between your lips and swallow to stick your tongue to the roof of your mouth. I did this and it doesn’t work??? The piece comes out of my mouth while I sleep, waking me up!!!!!
