Give it 6 Stars!!
Usually these gimmicky items never work for me, so I was apprehensive. But what the heck, maybe I'll get lucky this time. Well I absolutely hit the jackpot with this item. It's really only been about two or three nights since I've started using it but I could breathe through my nose at night all night with absolutely no problems at all. I was becoming a slave to nose spray at night which I really really hate. So this is really ended the use of the spray and opened my airways nicely, it does not hurt or bother me in any way. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Give it a try. I've actually had two sinus turbinite surgeries and this works even better than those. I'm giving it six stars!!

Probably helpful for some noses, but not mine
I had high hopes for this nasal dilator, as its streamlined design doesn't create airflow blockage as some bulkier dilators could. But it just didn't work for my nostrils' shape, which I'd characterize as women's medium-sized; I have neither a slim nor wide nose. This one-size-fits-all dilator was just too large and exerted too much pressure inside my nostrils that I couldn't adjust to. I contacted the company to see if they plan to make a smaller size. I got a prompt response that, "You can make it a little smaller by rolling in the wings and holding it for about 45 seconds." That sounded good, but the springiness of the material meant that holding for 45 seconds made no permanent change. I used a twist tie to squeeze the dilator into a narrower shape for 3 days, and that caused no permanent deformation or change, either. The dilator soon reverted back to its former shape and level of discomfort. I think people with larger nostrils could get great results with this low-profile design. I still think it's a good design, and if the company ever makes a smaller version, I might try it. In the meantime, I've tried at least 7 different nasal dilators now, and the one that worked best for me is the Rhinomed Mute in the small size. That brand's style has adjustable wings that made for an effective, more comfortable fit and decent night's sleep for me. (I have no affiliation with any of these companies.) Nasal strips work for me, but years of using them had irritated and reddened my aging skin.

The only way I can sleep
I have had two reconstructive surgeries on my nose to rebuild after trauma, and my nasal passages collapse when I've been laying down for a while. I tried the stick-on-the-nose strips, but there is only so much glue my skin can handle, and they don't stick when I sweat or have a humidifier going. I used to wake up several times a night feeling like death warmed over (hypoxia, nosebleeds, sinus pressure), blow my nose, spray some saline and meds in each nostril, coat them with vaseline, and try to go back to sleep. Since I started using these little W shaped lifesavers, I have been able to sleep through the night, and I wake up in the morning feeling like I've actually rested! The lavender scent isn't overpowering, and it helps to relax me. I wash them in the morning with soap and water, and reuse them until they start to crack (a week or two). The little case that comes with them keeps them clean on my night stand until the next night. Best invention ever!
