This is the only store-bought meat masala my family uses. It's spicy and aromatic, makes for excellent biryani, curry, or fry.

I'm unsure why this product is so popular. Literally, it's just heat. I can't taste all the wonderful spices that this mix supposedly has in it. It just burns your face and doesn't taste great.

Great price and easy to use. A premixed handy pkt with 4 to 6 servings depending on taste and strength that you like. Easy to make with the recipe and required ingredients on the rear or inside box for those using it for the first time. Shan masala mixes are great to use and ready to use straight from the packet and will keep in the cupboard. Handy when relatives visit unannounced and saves you getting the grinder out.

Very very good stuff compared to the masalas we get at the local supermarket. Incomparable. I'm surprised, although india is known as the land of spices, the products sold here, are so below average..truly disappointing. 10 stars to this product.

I use it all the time for my cooking l marinade my lamb and add small amount cooked half of the time.
