Bought this for my bird cage. Sometimes my parakeets like to go to the bottom of their cage and I had seen some people use the fake grass to offer a good feeling on their feet. I think they just like the color and not having the bars there. However you need to vacuum it and wash/hang dry this. The size was perfect for my Purdue cage. At least I think that’s the brand of their big cage. It’s the same size as my two story large ferret cage as well as the same brand. Anyway. This fake grass was well made, lush, good thickness and looked real enough for these feathered creatures of mine. Oh and there wasn’t any funny smells like chemicals which was nice. I did leave it out of their cage to flatten it out before putting in their cage so they wouldn’t pick at the rolled edges. They tend to go for whatever stands out. I have birds that love to pick at anything that peaks interest. They don’t pick at this and occasionally will walk on it. Mostly I think it just adds a stimulating color to their atmosphere. It was a good buy and I as well as my birds are happy with the purchase. Still figuring out how they will work off the cost of their new floor. Evie and Ruben give this two beaks up with many clicks and squawks.

Bought for my cockatiels cage, it looks great and it’s easy to clean. I take a wide tooth comb and it gets rid of all the crap to be handwashed and reused!

Like the quality and size. Using it on plastic tray for cats. Easy to clean. Use with a pee pad underneath. Would buy again. Seems durable. Thickness is good.
