I love this capo but it don’t clamp down tight enough,can it be adjusted?

After you clamp it on, press down on the bar to seat it better on the strings. Also, make sure it is positioned close to, but not TOO close to the fret it is mounted proximate to. Even my best capos work better (and do not de-tune my strings) if I do this.

Will this capo be long enough to effectively be used on a classical style guitar with wider necks?
