This device works, is high quality & worth the cost. I had tried those cheaper (Rs 800 range) "1000W 220V to 110V" US-to-India adapter plugs and they're all scam - one of my US devices also stopped working after using with that adapter plug. Even my rice cooker didn't work thru the adapter plug. For any US appliances beyond simple heating devices like sandwich toaster etc, the only solution is to buy these expensive transformers like this one

This is a life savior for all the US appliances you’d like to use in India. I recently used the Dyson Airwrap and it worked perfectly! The company person also helped me navigate through the set while on the phone when I used it the first time. The only downside is that it is bulky and the design can be modern but it is the nature of the product across the industry.

I Use this for my microwave oven. I have many step down transformers of various wattages around the house. This one is in a very neat enclosure, steady voltage output and negligible hum. Recommended. The 2 year warranty is very reassuring of good quality build and long service.

I purchased this product in May 2024 and have been using it for about 3 weeks now. Nice product and much smaller than several step down transformers of 1500W that i found in stores.
