Great Product for Artwork
Out of several brands and kinds of art tape, I like ProTapes best because it sticks to paper and backer board, yet is easily removed without damaging artwork. I recommend it to all artist friends.

Works great!
Easy to write on with a sharpie but don't work with some pens. I use this several times a week to temporarily label sound equipment (mics, IEM packs, etc.) and have had no problems with it. No residue is left when removed, and it holds on the items until you intend to remove it. What more can you ask of labing tape? I would recommend it.

Easy to write on. Sticks well in a dry environment.
I needed to add a label to mark my audio equipment. It has stuck to the plastic and onto a rubber knob well. It has not come off. When using a pen on it, the pen does not seem to bleed through the material. On that note the material surface is papery, not plasticy. I don't know how well it would hold up to water droplets.

Adhesive missing
I have used this product for years and really like the quality. The last two I purchased have missing adhesive every few inches. This happened on my last two rolls. I was unable to get an exchange because I was finishing off my last roll before opening these two and the return window closed

It's meh
This tape gets the job done. It's not my favorite because sometimes the adhesion is there but then others times it isn't fully. If you try really pressing down on the tape it ends up ripping up your paper, so just be careful. Also, if you don't press down hard enough, your paint will leak through and not keep that sharp edge. I would prefer the blue painters tape or even washy over this.

This Is Excellent Tape for Electronics Work
I use this tape to position wires on silicon boards for projects to enable precise solder joints. I can remove it and reuse it as I work on different areas to solder. It is the BEST TAPE I've ever seen for adhesion and re-adhesion and flexibility. It can be written on when using it for other projects. I prefer it to all other tapes I've used PERIOD.
