Every little girl deserves to know she is God’s princess. Princess Stories is the big sister to popular board book My Princess Bible . Princess Stories , perfect for girls ages 4 to 8, is a collection of first-person narrative stories about 29 women in the Bible―and the 30th story is about the reader, who is God’s princess too. In each four-page story, the reader discovers a rhyming verse about the princess (addressed to “Mirror, mirror on the wall”), a first-person story of the featured Bible woman and the special quality her life reflects. Each story also includes a Bible verse from another passage of Scripture that summarizes and relates to the character trait, as well as Princess Ponderings―questions that help young girls and their parents discuss the stories and relate the lessons to life. Designed to empower and inspire, this Christian storybook provides: Lessons on key biblical women, including Eve, Queen Esther, and Mary the mother of Jesus Teachings on values like courage, kindness, faith, and leadership Beautiful, full-color illustrations of the Bible heroines Through this book, girls will learn more in-depth stories of women of the Bible and how to apply Scripture to their own lives as they come to understand their identities as daughters of the King. Thick book, beautiful message
I got this book as a gift for a 7 year old. The book is much thicker than I expected AND it has 2 pages of table of contents so there are way more women of the bible portrayed than i thought. I love how this teaches little girls that God loves them and has an important mission for each of them. It helps girls resonate with the Bible "princesses" based on their highlighted characteristic. A very amazing book that the kids can grow with and understand better throughout the years. Also, guided questions to make the story time more interactive.

Beautiful book!
This book is very well done! My daughter is 5 and she and I both love it. So helpful in fleshing out the stories of strong and kind women in the Bible.

Love! Great book for your little princess 💕 👑 🏰
I got this for my seven year old who wanted a similar book that was for slightly older readers. I love, love, love this book that it is age appropriate and a similar concept to the book she had wanted but this one is based on biblical women only so I can feel comfortable with her reading it. We read the first few pages and it is so adorable and encouraging for young female believers like my girl. She was over the moon about the book and super excited to sit down whenever she can to read through it. She also noticed the page about herself in the Table of Contents and liked that a lot. Highly recommended for young girls.

My kindergartener’s favorite book!
Our family really loves this book - I bought it for my 5-year-old daughter more than a year ago and she still asks us to read it together all the time. The illustrations are simple but lovely, really capturing the imagination of a girl who loves beautiful things, and we often use the devotional questions, as there are just 2 or 3 and they do a nice job of applying the princess’s story. I also love the variety of stories and the character traits they illustrate. We’ve bought a copy for a friend and recommended the book to many others. Such a good find!

Bad seller
I am updating my review to reflect the amazing customer service from the seller. They took care of the situation quickly. The book itself is a little “dumbed down”, but in general is a good intro to many of the female heroines in the Bible. The book is well written, but the seller sold this as “very good” condition and it is definitely NOT! The binding is held on with tape, and pages are torn and folded.

Quit Complaining About the "Princess Problem", and Do Something Positive About It
From time immemorial little girls have loved pretending to be princesses even though their chances of actually becoming such have always been virtually nil. In recent years it has become fashionable to fret about such things (something of an overreaction IMHO), but assuming you have reason for concern, what can you do? Well, you can rant and rave and deny your daughter certain playthings, which will only make her cry and desire them all the more, or you can do something constructive. This book offers a marvelously constructive alternative for Christian parents of young daughters. Christianity teaches that ALL of us have the opportunity to become adopted sons and daughters of God the Father by accepting the sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son as payment for our sins. Thus, accepting God as our King, we become princes and princesses. This book gently makes this point by retelling in three pages each of simplified language the story of 29 "princesses by faith" from the Bible (the 30th princess is the story of YOU or rather, your daughter). Each story begins with verse references so you can look up the original story in your Bible, followed by a four line verse in the pattern of "Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who was the _____ princess of all?..." Three pages of story follow, then a memory verse, then a page of three questions to ponder. Each Bible "princess" has an attribute emphasized in the story: Eve was the first princess; Sarah, the surprised princess; Rahab, the brave princess; Ruth, the loyal princess; Abigail, the peaceful princess; Esther, the daring princess; Mary, Jesus' Mom, the obedient princess; etc., and the text is complimented by Sergey Eliseev's gorgeous artwork. About the only complaints I've heard from other Christians is that the book is too pink and the illustrations, too cute. Um, OK, but pink really isn't a Satanic color, no matter what I or other fathers of daughters have been overheard to mutter, and cuteness is not Evil, though in overdose it can cause dizziness in the average male (Just sit him down in his favorite chair, pop in a DVD with lots of explosions, and he'll be fine). Note: All Biblcal quotations included are from the New Living Bible. Note: A board book version adapted for younger girls is also available, somewhat unfortunately titled My Princess Bible , as yet unexamined by me, which appears to have been the victim of an externally organized campaign of hate-filled ranting one star reviews by anti-Christian bigots. The two star reviews on the other hand appear to be honest critiques written by people who regard the attempt to make use of princess imagery as compromising with the world. I respectfully disagree, as I also respectfully disagree with those who say the same about Christian Rock & Roll.

Wonderful book to share with girls!!!
This is a very nice book. I just received it today in the mail, but what I have read so far is really good. Not just that the language is perfect for little princesses but also there is a good explanation in every story, like a life lesson and a short Bible verse that's easy to memorize for even a 5-6 years old. The pictures are cute and opposite to some other review about the characters being only white.... it's not so at all!!! All in all, can't wait to snuggle up with my daughter and take new adventures with Princess Stories. Thank you Carolyn and Sergey for creating such a wonderful book with true values!!!!

Great book for young girls
My daughters (and I) are loving the format of the stories of these women of the Bible. They reach for this book often during storytime. It’s great that they decided to include stories even of less known women of the Bible too!
