I have a older Bible that has an extra thick spine so it's hard to find a cover that will fit it. This Bible is looking a little worn and needs the protection of a cover. A Bible with a longer length would be able to fit inside this cover but I selected the extra large size for the deeper spine depth. I took a chance and tried it out and once I actually placed the Bible inside of the cover, it looks good! I am so relieved! Turns out it's perfect! Yes there is a little room to spare in the length but once inside the cover the bible fits comfortably and seems a great choice. I decided that instead of trying to cram my beautiful Bible (that I have had for years) into a smaller tighter cover, I opted to have a little more room. I even have some room to put other things I may need in it. I am so happy about this decision because the engraving of the strong gentle lion is really beautiful and the engraved quote fills me with feelings of comfort, strength and courage. Functionally it seems to be very durable with a good quality zipper. I like the feel of the leather material. I am grateful I gave it a chance. Thank you.

I love this bible cover because it is nice and sturdy and my bible is fits perfectly inside of it. I love the red and black ribbons that comes with because you can mark your scriptures that you have read. The lions Head engravement is awesome on the leather outside cover and the beautiful inspirational inscription is phenomenal. I love the Handel it makes it easy to carry it around. One would believe that this is a bible and not a bible cover. This how well the it's so snuggled inside of the case. The zipper is very good and sturdy as well. I highly recommend this bible case because it worth the price and you will definitely be happy 😊 with your purchase and male and females can use it.

We bought this as a gift for a good friend and he absolutely loves it. It's beautifully made and the rich brown leather doesn't feel stiff. There's plenty of room for his Bible, a notebook or two, and his pens.

Perfect Well almost,but that's my fault. I read the size and I loved the look of the cover and said. Im going to try it. It's so tight you couldn't get a pencil in it. But I'm hoping it will stretch. Because I really love it. So the ad is dead on with everything.

It’s a great product. Only issue is the zipper piece broke due to the cross on it. Now it’s a hassle. I ended up putting a key ring through it to have something to pull on but that eventually bent the zipper. Beautiful product though.

First impression are pretty good so far. I am an truck driver who is in the process of converting to Eastern Orthodoxy, and I wanted to bring my bible with me, so I got this bible cover. When it comes to the Orthodox Study Bible, the height is perfect. Its a little wide, so it does move around a little bit, but if I slip the front and back covers into the slots, it doesn't move around at all. Its a little difficult with a hard cover bible, but it's doable. The bible ribbons will be very helpful in locating the daily verses at the end of each shift, especially since the Orthodox bible doesn't have any ribbons. If anything changes I'll post an update, but for now, this is perfect for what I need it for Update: I realized I may have ordered the wrong size and decided to try the medium size cover, and it it a perfect fit for my Orthodox bible. The case fits nice and snug, and the bible does not move at all. As a result, I am returning the large case and upgrading the review to 5 stars

make sure you get the right size to fit your bible

Faux leather is much less durable than real leather. It tends to crack and peel over time, with poor quality pieces losing their original finish in just a few months. Because faux leather is manmade, this peeling and cracking can't be undone

This was my second attempt to get this and I'm not disappointed. It's simply beautiful.
