Almost all the exercises DO need more than just bodyweight
This will teach me to read ALL the reviews. The first exercise I came to set the tone, wrap a towel round the handles of an open door and lean back into a squat. If I did that, to any door in my flat, I strongly think that either the handles would come off or the hinges twist - and I am only 5' 2'' tall and weigh 8 stone. I also wanted exercises I could do in a hotel room while travelling on business (something I do a lot). I can just imagine the faces if I was to do that exercise. I am very disappointed.

Great results as long as you stick to the programme
Bought for the wife's birthday as a hint after she gained a bit of weight. She really likes how the exercises start of easy and get progressively harder as strength increases. All the advice is sensible and it has worked well.

No nonsense guide...but just get men’s version
He has a powerful message for women who want to develop inner strength and self love through improving their physical strength and competence, and I love his voicing: it’s like having a no-nonsense guy friend by your side. But in the end I’m going with the men’s version, which starts at a level that anyone ready for some strenuous exercise, male or female, should be able to manage.

Buy only if self motivated.
Great book for the self motivated. Otherwise get a personal trainer! Any real improvements happen over time, like changing our diet, exercise needs to be a life style change.
